Can’t put him with Kartye and Sheary. Kartye is a 4th liner. Sheary is not an NHL player.
Worked out perfectly, they played reasonably well, and lost, which means they'll finish as the 3rd or 4th worst team in the league as they cannot catch the Leafs or Kraken now even with a win at TB.
They are currently tied for 3rd worst in the league with the Flames, both have 75 points, the Rangers have played 81 games, and the Flames have played 80 games. The Flames have a game in hand, and they own the tiebreaker as they have more RW's than the Rangers. So, if the Rangers lose at TB, they end up 3rd worst for sure. We'll see if TB wants to play to win tomorrow night as all they have left to play for right now is home ice in round 1 against Montreal, but if Montreal loses at Philly tonight then TB clinches home ice in round 1 and will have nothing to play for. The Flames host Colorado (nothing to play for) and the Kings (playoff positioning to play for) in their last two games. Let's hope worst case the Rangers and Flames match each other to end the season.

If the Rangers stay behind the Flames and end as the 3rd worst team (where they sit currently), they'll have an 11.5% chance of winning the lottery and picking # 1.

Also, the Kings made the playoffs so there is at least a chance the pick they got for Panarin can improve by a round.
