I would want a hybrid approach. Most of the bench sucked last night, and CJ still has some rust. I hope they start the normal group, but only play Dame 15-20 minutes and let the rest get more run. That should be enough to win at home and hopefully get some rhythm with guys not named Ennis, Mo and Dame.

DW- Game Thread title should say WEDNESDAY, not Tuesday. Great thread otherwise. I personally want 3 seed for same reason as Wesley. I agree with Scalma that young guys might win anyway. I believe we can beat OKC. Utah beat us really badly twice this year and they've made it out of the first round two straight years and counting. Spurs would be nice in theory since their backcourt is weak and they're awful on the road. But they have Pop, who yes, has lost in first round many times in his career but could still be tough. OKC has Westbrook who makes lots of mistakes down the stretch of games and I think they'd be overconfident with Nurk out. Plus, Dame averaged 35ppg against them this year. If he does that in playoffs, OKC has no chance. That's my opinion.

Yes. If Denver loses and we win, then Denver/Houston/Portland are all tied. In that case, we are 4 seed because of various tiebreakers. So to get 3 seed, we need to win and need Denver to win.

Portland isn’t getting out of the second round either way, and let’s be real, getting out of the first would be an accomplishment and would probably save Terry’s job. I don’t think he’s safe if he doesn’t. Don’t think the Nurk injury is enough of an excuse to save him. He was almost fired last year.

I don't think Denver is any more difficult than Utah in the playoffs, hell I think I might rather play them. They didn't even make the 8th seed last year, they beat teams due to depth and frantic pace of the regular season at mile high. They have been much worse post allstar break.

It would be tough to make the WCF as the 3 seed, but its certainly possible. Against the Warriors I give us nearly zero chance.

You may be right about Terry job security, I think thats a terrible way to manage a team though.
