I thought it was ridiculous that Jaime not only survived being dumped into the river with all the heavy armor on and a gold hand, but him and Bronn somehow swam pretty far from the battle.
I'm glad Gendry and the Hound are back in the mix.
I think the evil bitch Cersei is lying to Jaime about being pregnant.
What's the deal with the scroll that punk ass Littlefinger had and Arya found? What's Littlefinger up to?
The two guys that Daenerys dragon torched after the battle, are they Sam's dad and brother?
I have a hard time keeping up with who is who, this show has so many characters.

Man.... if you have a hard time keeping track of characters on the show, don't even try to read the books. It's about a million times worse.

I think Cersei is lying too.

The note that Arya found in Littlefinger's room is a message that Cersei had Sansa write after they either locked up or killed Ned Stark (I can't remember which). It was supposed to appease Robb and Katlynn and keep them from marching off to war. But Arya doesn't seem to understand that context, so Littlefinger is hoping it will create distrust and drive a wedge between the sisters. He wants Sansa to turn to him.

Yes, it was Sam's dad and brother that were burned.

Check out these 3 big reveals from the last episode:

So my question is..... if he is a full blown Targaryen, can Jon be burned?

Or, since he's only half Targaryen and half Stark, could he be made into a pile of dust?

The belief that being Targaryen makes them fire proof, is not true. GRRM has stated this and has gone on to explain that wen Dany survived the fire there was magic involved as she burned the witch. Also, for further proof, Jon was burned when he saver the Nights Watch Commander from the white walker by setting it on fire.

and, obviously, Dany's brother was burned to death "he's not the dragon" Dany muttered.

But she did it twice... she also burned all of the other Khals.

I had to explain to my wife who Gentry was. That's been a dead end for so many books.

Someone's going to have to explain to me how Jon's plan makes sense. Thanks to Bran's message, he knows the white walker army is on its way to Eastwatch and, if they break through, the game's over. So he (eventually) traveled to the Wall, they now need to travel to the army, collect a soldier from that army, travel back in the same direction as the army, travel back to King's Landing and have a little palaver with Cersei to show her the captured wight. At which point, hopefully, they'll get an armistice and troops to head back to the Wall with.

In all that time, the white walker army isn't going to reach Eastwatch and break through? Did I miss an important point that explains why that isn't a problem?

I'd just send the *wyverns to melt the Red Keep, end the war real quick, fast, and in a hurry, and then march north.

She didn't come to Westeros to melt castles and burn cities with firewyrmfire.

Has anybody else noticed a weird time compression effect in this season's episodes? The way they are shooting and editing these people travelling makes it feel like everyone has their own private jet and are zipping around the continent at mach 1.

I get it; they've gotta wrap this shit up, but it's pretty jarring compared to the first six seasons.

Yeah, I agree that it's jarring. They're taking journeys that comprised half seasons in the past and turning them into star wipes.

I guess not only do they need to wrap things up, since this season will be short, but I suppose if they didn't have anything important happening on the journeys, there's only so much Jon-broods-on-the-deck-of-a-ship they can do. But it doesn't really sync up with everything else going on.

It almost feels like fast-travel in a video game . . . which dovetails nicely with the video-gamey plot evolving right now.
