Denver has 8 free throws already. We have 0, because we are gunning from the outside too much. Get to the paint and draw some free throws or close shots.

For the first time in three games the 2nd unit hasn't come out and dug us a hole. Nice!

Wow, lucky to be tied.

The Batum starting experiment should be officially ended.

Spaniards have played well for us.

spanish connection keeping us in it at the end of the first

We're not going to win shooting 3's and jumpers all night while Denver keeps pounding it inside.

Are these guys that good defensively? We can't get anything going inside.

All jumpers.

The problem: Nate McMillan.

Flat out - our offensive sets suck donkey balls. It's truly pathetic.

Wow. Can't believe it's tied at 25. We're lucky because a few jumpers went in, but if we want this game, we're gonna have to stop their penetration and get easier shots for ourselves. And be aggressive on the boards.

Not a big fan of Brandon are you?

Not as big a fan of him as he is himself.

I liked him better back when he tried to make guys look good, now it's just about making himself look good.

Rudy has to be the guy for us when Brandon isn't hitting. He can shoot, slash, and finish. He should be getting 15-18 shots a night.

Yeah, Joel. That's what i'm talking about.

Sergio finished at the rim? I don't believe it.

Frye made a jumper. It's a Christmas miracle!

Wow, I love the tempo with Sergio tonight, great job..
Maris, I think your evaluation of Roy is flawed. He's our franchise player, and our star; not only is he our best player, but he's also one of the greatest passers on the team, his assists are great probably 2nd or 3rd on the team.

I wonder if a player like Steve Nash would push this Blazer team.....I know he is older, but he know how to push the tempo

You do realize that his teammates and coaches have encouraged him to look for his shot more don't you?

This is the best Sergio has looked in weeks. After last night I thought Nate was ready to give all his minutes to Bayless.

?? How is a guy who asks his teammates if he is shooting too much and feeling bad about it "all about himself"

Joel
LaMarcus
Travis
Rudy
Sergio

That's my starting unit.

The Blazers seems so much more confident at home. Their shots and lay-ups fall in with more regularity in the Rose Garden. I hope we continue to attack the rim

Your basic high percentage one handed high arching bank shot - he's missed enough lay-ups recently where we can say he was due. Let's see if he can make a few more.

Sergio actually hit a couple of shots - now they have to guard him and Frye gets a proper look with no-one on him.

See - if Sergio actually hits the ball in the ocean - he is a good player. Wish he could do it consistently.

I am not someone who bashes and tries to keep things positive but I have to agree with you. It seems that anytime we run up against a good team that knows how to draw up plays and actually has a plan (Utah) we struggle with and we NEVER seem to make in game adjustments. I see the media constantly nitpicking about our players being overrated (Oden) or soft (Aldridge) and so on but NO ONE ever seems to call out McMillan for failing to draw up an offensive scheme or ask him the tough questions (why does the offense struggle for easy baskets or why are you a defensive minded coach yet the team seems to struggle at guarding the perimeter). Its time someone turns the heat up on him a little bit.
