:reading:BLAZERS' GAME NOTES
• Wednesday will mark the second of three meetings between Portland and Los Angeles. The final two meeting will be held on April 16 in Portland.

• The Trail Blazers defeated the Clippers 116-112 in overtime in the first matchup of the season on Dec. 26 in Portland.

• LaMarcus Aldridge recorded 32 points and 10 rebounds without any turnover in the first contest against Los Angeles, the only player in the league to record such stats this season.

• Six of the last eight meetings between the two teams in Los Angeles have been decided by 10 points or fewer.

• The Clippers won the 2012-13 season series against the Trail Blazers 3-1, marking the first time Los Angeles has won consecutive season series against the Trail Blazers since winning the 2005-06 (3-0) and 2006-07 (3-1) season series.

• The Clippers have won 3 games in a row at Staples Center against the Trail Blazers.

• Chris Paul is 17 points away from reaching 11,000 for his career.

• The Clippers have scored 100 points or more in 10 straight home games since Jan. 1, 2014. That is the most home games in a row with 100+ since moving to Staples Center in Nov. 1999.

•HEAD-TO-HEAD HISTORY:
ALL TIME: Trail Blazers lead, 138-66
IN PORTLAND: Trail Blazers lead, 84-18
AT THE CLIPPERS: Trail Blazers lead, 54-48

Portland on a back to back
Clippers last game was Sunday

The Blazers are going to lose this game

Have we ever won the final game heading into the ASB? I swear we always get blown out in these contests

Griffin is definitely in my top 5 hated NBA players.

I still don't understand why Stotts never sends someone out there specifically to foul hard. I would do it as much as possibly against Griffin.

We match up well with these guys - hoping for some redemption from last night.

We matched up well with them before our downward slide. Since January 1st the Clippers are leading the NBA in net efficiency rating while Portland comes in 16th.

I just talked with Mags, he'll be at the game tonight.

The matchups haven't changed in the meantime. I'd also be interested to see who the two teams have faced during that stretch. Regardless, I think we can take this game (though being on the 2nd night of a back-to-back makes it difficult).

I would have, but tickets are pricy. When the blazers and clippers sucked, they were more reasonable now they're about double what I'm used to paying.

I'll be at the game, but my heart isn't in it anymore. Last night broke me. I have no faith we'll win tonight and I will not get my hopes up. The Clippers can't wait to beat us.

Do not give up hope sir. We shall have a renaissance.

You need to meet up with Mags at the game for a dose of unicorns and ass sunshine. This is still our year.

Tonight's the night I hope they unleash Claver! Should be a good game, bounce back game going into the break! Bench has to step up big time with Joel and Mo out.

One game at a time! That's what got the team going and that's still the MO tonight. I'm assuming you were a fan last season and if you were, you know this mini slump is nothing. Allstar break will be good for fans too, I think..hang in there KingSpeed

Mags said he's going to call you.

I understand the feelings you are going through. What puzzles me is when others express this feeling about not being sold on the Blazers a a few weeks ago, you would almost ridicule them and make them think they know nothing about basketball.

Where is the: "Miami lost to OKC at home, is Miami no longer a contender?"

Puzzling indeed.

Not being sold is one thing. Broken is another. Talking down on team directly after beating SA and Dallas on road is inappropriate. I don't remember ridiculing anyone though.
