The officials really changed the tempo of this game. They kept the Clippers close enough when they were ice cold.

I had a strong feeling this was going to happen in the 1st quarter. I've seen it too many times in an NBA game where a team that comes out so hot in the 1st usually cools down and loses the game.

In the 2nd half, Portland did the LA 18 foot post up turn around fade away crap way too much. It's like they totally lost their mojo and forgot how to play offense. The result = loss. LaMarcus with another terrible shooting night. Portland seriously needs to break that habit.

It was badly officiated both ways for most of the game, the difference is that our fouls were coming at horrible time and completely killed all our momentum. I'm not putting this one on the refs but more on the Blazers losing focus and not really regaining it after a lot of blown and bad calls in the third. Gotta just shrug your shoulders and onto the next game, hope the Blazers get better mentally prepared when this happens again later in the year.
