Let's not get carried away. We're playing the Jazz. He wasn't exactly turning away lay-ups at the rim against the mid-pack Mavs.

We've seen Lopez play well more than just this game! And he played damn well against Dallas. Did you fucking watch that game?

LA has really matured as an NBA player. He just seems to get it.

I'm not just talking about numbers though. Our offense is so much better with Lopez than it was with Hickson. A lot of what Lopez does will not show up in a box score. I'm not even disputing that Aldridge is our best player, but I'm just saying..... I love me some Lopez!

He's good, but he's not nearly as important as LMA, Dame or even Batum.

Batum could be the MVP. He's healthy, which is really nice to see. I just see such a difference this year with Lopez instead of Hickson. We had a good starting five last year, but we have a great starting five this season. So dynamic with Dame and LA scoring, Batum doing just about everything else, and Lopez playing like a champ.

Yeah, he's making guys better, but all that is for naught if the other guys aren't actually good players in the first place. I love me some FroLo. I made the Neil Olshey appreciation thread when he stole Robin from NO, but he's not the most important guy on this team.

Or Wes! I love what Lopez has done for our team, but it might be a "first candle" situation. We were in a dark room with no candle last year, and so the addition of a single candle is HUGELY noticeable. Maybe Asik (or any other C) would only be a "second candle" (ie, not significantly more noticeable than a single candle) - but it's also just as possible that they'd be the equivalent of 5 candles - truly more noticeable than a single candle.

Mo Williams....I really don't know what to think of him. Guy makes some good plays but also follows them up with some really stupid decisions. Pounds the ball way too much, but the guys (particularly LA) seem to love him as a teammate. So I'll pass judgment. We're 18-4, he must be doing something right...right?

Really? When has he made a good play? I've seen him make shots - mostly bad shots. But I can't recall him making a good play. I can recall him dribbling into traffic on 1-on-3 fast breaks and turning the ball over - in many games.
