Wow, that wasn't much. Guess we were worn out from our game 1 victory.

Stotts really trusst CJ more than I do...still no Will, I don't get it

I'm in disbelief. We were up 77-73 and got like 5 or 6 stops in a row but couldn't fucking score. We had them beat but we didn't score until. Kings finally made a move. Then Damian went into Beastmode when it was too late. Ugh. And what happened to LA? He was having a good game. 19 through three quarters!

Bullshit. We won by 17. Thunder nearly beat the Clippers with less.

Yep...and down every quarter until the 4th. Westbrook just wore down. No need for foul language just because you disagree. The reality is, OKC was without a league MVP, their top 6th man and their starting SG.

And maybe I'm reading more into a frustrating loss but it also feels like the player substitutions and rotations are off. They didn't feel natural and within the flow of the game.

They had enough players to nearly beat the Clippers. The game is a 48 minute game. We won by 17 as we should have.

we were tied going into the 4th, fwiw.

LA with 1 FG in the 2nd half and averaging 3.5 rebounds per game.

I agree...I was actually shocked to see Lillard, Blake and CJ on the court together

Batum was atrocious!

I sincerely think that if we lost Batum tomorrow, Wright would contribute just as much and we wouldn't miss him. It might even be a positive, because Lillard would then handle the ball more and shoot more.

Down 77-75 after 3 against OKC.

Exactly. And then we outscored them by 19 in the 4th. We did exactly what great teams do. Beat the crap out of a lesser team and get your scrubs in. That is what we did.

Kings got a ton of second chance even 3rd chance pts tonight

I'd like to see where LA's shots/makes are coming from. It seems he is continuing his trend of going farther and farther out on the floor. 3.5 rebounds per game for the first two is unacceptable.

His shot attempts are long twos. When he goes inside, he gets to the line, so no recorded shot attempt.

I'm ready to see Crabbe playing ahead of CJ

Yes they did but they shouldn't have been down to a 1-man team for 3 quarters in the first place. That effort was continued for the night. Portland has really only played one good quarter out of 8 so far in two games.

So it looks like the Blazers will only go 81-1 now. I was really hoping for 82-0 but I guess if I have to settle...

Where is the ball movement? Blazers pass and hold instead of moving it quickly. When they move it quickly, they get very good open looks but they are not a 1-on-1 team at all and too often they fall into that.

So, we've played one good quarter so far this season and it's not like our opponents were elite either. We just look super tentative right now and our shot selection (in stretches) is suspect. When the outside shot isn't falling, for the love of God, attack the basket and get to the foul line!

I thought a key moment in this game occurred was the 2nd quarter when Aldridge received over a six minute rest. He had it stuck on automatic early on and I think Stotts rested him a tad too long. When your superstar is locked and loaded, you ride that gravy train.

Also, we need to quit fucking overlooking teams! Nico was lazy as hell with the ball tonight. Our bigs were completely outworked on the glass (Dame led the team with seven boards). And I didn't see a ton of intensity throughout the game. The West is a fucking buzzsaw and we need to be dialed in for 82 games if we want a good playoff seed, not to mention taking advantage of OKC while Russ and KD are sidelined. Overall, it was an extremely frustrating game. The kind you would expect during the dog days of January, not in late October.
