GAME THREAD: BLAZERS @ LAKERS - 12/1/13, SUNDAY, 6:30 PM (PST), CSNNW

Again the team found a way to win with some key players that couldn't score most of the game. I've never followed a Blazer-Laker game in my life where I couldn't name all 5 Laker players on the court throughout the whole game! Credit to those guys! They played a good game.

I feel he has helped win more games than he has lost. Therefore, I consider him an asset to the team.

I'm on board with this. Mo can be really frustrating, but looking at the alternative of not having any back up PG at all (see LA) I'll take Mo. It's frustrating, but it's part of the game. Big game tomorrow night. I hope the guys disable their cruise control, or they aren't gonna do very well.

I think Portland will beat Indiana tomorrow night, I just hope they don't build any 20 point leads....

That's why I think they will win, should be a close slug fest all night. Rosegarden better get loud, that was the first laker game I've ever watched where I was impressed by their crowds energy.

I have eyes. I can see when a player is being abused on defense. Apparently Terry Stotts cannot.

You want to fire the coach when the team is 14-3? I'm glad you have eyes, because a brain you do not.

He brings a similar spark off the bench for the Blazers, Vinny Johnson did years ago for Pistons

no apology needed. I knew where you were coming from.

Just got Mo's back for now.

And I want to make sure this is known: I've always considered the Von Wafer/Taurean Green combo to have been a net positive during the season they were with us. Von single handedly won us a game against (I think) Houston. That "Taurean Green will win us 3 games" thing is a joke now, but I thought it worked out okay when he got traded for Von. :ghoti:

Win. In LA. Even if it did give me flashbacks to the most horrific sports event of my life, I'll take it!

He's been a spark off the bench. He and his production is why we have been able to boast about our bench so far this season. Give him a break.

Yes, but Stotts needs to treat him like any other bench player. There's no reason he should have such a long leash when he almost single handily blew a 20 point lead.

I am not a fan of playing Mo and Dame together. The two guys that Dame and Mo were guarding (Meeks and Henry) dropped 47 tonight. They abused Mo repeatedly on defense. Dame held his own against Meeks, but it was a huge disadvantage down the stretch.

And personal attacks are necessary? We blew TWO huge leads in this game, and Stotts did nothing to stem the tide.

I think he showed his faith and comfort level with him. I have faith in him when he is out there. But you're right. Stotts needs to monitor himself in this situation

lol

It sounded to me like they were turning up the courtside microphones every time the Lakers made a good play.

Either that, or they were piping in crowd sound effects.

Stotts isn't the one who scored 1 point on the first 11 possessions combined of the 4th quarter. He called timeouts, he made substitutions, the players are just awful at playing with big leads. Stotts can't play the game for them.

Me either. CJ will hopefully help some so Stotts doesn't have to run with that line up so long.

I don't know why coach wouldn't sick Watson on those scrubs for five minutes to pour a bucket of water on them. :dunno:

Calling for Stotts to be fired

smh.

That dumbass post is a sign for me to call it a night.

14-3!!! Beat the Lakers on their home turf! I don't care how we did it, it doesn't get any better for me than sweeping the Lakers and Wolves..Pau Gasol disappeared when LaMarcus and Robin were on the court. To each his own but LaMarcus is the best PF in the league right now!

The amplified organ music was unnecessarily loud, as was the other loud noises.
