"We can't beat teams by outscoring them" - Wesley Matthews.

We are tied with San Antonio for the best road record in the league (5-1).

Or Wesley was controlling the score of the game for gambling purposes.

Or Wesley was making up for Batum's 3-pointer against the Spurs. He sacrificed a turnover to sate the basketball gods.

I did not get to see anything but the last 1.30 listening to the post game they did well in the last quarter

Our second half adjustment was just awesome tonight. We completely locked them out

Wessy holding the ball for the 24 sec violation #LIKEABOSS . Absolutely LOVED THAT!

Act like this win doesn't mean shit and you've been there before. I'm lovin this team right now. Our offense is downright Spurs like. If our D ever catches up, we're gonna dominate.

Nets had 40 in the first and still didn't reach 100, another job well done.

Nets shoot 18% after shooting 72% in the 1st quarter? Jesus! And they missed a handful of shots after that stat appeared. I wonder what the record is for such a drop off.

Nets 33 of 35 from the line! They were getting a lot of ticky tacky shit. Wesley Matthews, once again, was the man

If they play defense like they did in the second half, they will be unstoppable

I heard something like 40 pts in the first quarter.

Then 56 the rest of the way. LOL.

I told ya'll that Brooklyn was terrible. Yet some picked them in the prediction. :dunno:

Man, I totally thought they'd have a let down tonight. Great win!

If you're going to the game Friday.......STAND UP AND GIVE YOUR BLAZERS AN OVATION when they come out of the locker room.

Tied for best road record in the league, and all of the top 8 teams in the West (with games still going on tonight) currently on a winning streak.

70 points between LMA, Wes and Lillard..and we do not have a ball hog...heady stuff

Not sure if it was mentioned, hadn't read through the game thread, but one big thing I've noticed a lot from LMA this season....in years past, he'd catch the ball, and his defender would, say, fall down, get bumped, whatever. He'd wait for the action to come to him so he could make his move. Quite a few times tonight, as well as this season, I saw his man not right in front of him and, instead of thinking hey, open jump shot, ok, he went towards the basket. Not just a he was open, but like his guy got totally picked, fell, switched poorly, whatever. He ALWAYS used to seem to wait for the guy to come to him, maybe feeling better with that body on him(in the post) or would immediately pop the jumper(outside). Loved that aggressive style from him, and hey, it resulted in 9 FTs tonight.

Best part from my POV was the 25 off the bench on 12/25 shooting, not amazing shooting but such a change from last year. We give up 40 in the 1st qtr last year and even though the starters could keep it close that would have turned into a 20pt halftime deficit last season instead of only being down 7. And I loved what Trob was doing out there, very productive in limited minutes and really looked good early in the 4th qtr. We actually grew the lead with LMA on the bench, letting Stotts give LMA alittle extra rest before coming in to finish. Again, so different from last year.

We're playing great. A road trip like this can make this a special team.
