GAME THREAD: Blazers @ Thunder 3/27/11

Man, this thread reeks of butthurt. The same things ESPN are saying about the Thunder were said about Portland a few years back.

With that little bit before the break, you'd think the Thunder were up by 50.

Anyone have a link to Mike and Mike? I'm starting to gag at this OKC lovefest.

After we win this game, it will all be about what's wrong with OKC. Not a mention of what's right with Portland.

I think, however, it's the fact that the franchise was stolen from a fellow PNW city and even when Portland was getting praise, it was more that they finally fixed the franchise and fan relationship, and not so much that the Blazers were the best thing ever.

How the heck do you forget about Aldridge? Stop chuckin threes and get him the ball.

I don't think you can play Aldridge at center against this team. Perkins is a pretty good post defender and can lock Aldridge down in the post. If Aldridge gets anything it will be from his jumper or the occasional alley-oop.

Eeek

Might want to guard that Durant guy. Might want to run the offense through that Aldridge guy.

Yeah, you'd think they'd try to stay up on the guy. Or take smarter shots.

I hate how this team is inconsistent from the floor. Either Wesley, Rudy or Nicolas are white hot from the floor, or they can't hit it in the ocean if they were on a boat in the ocean.

I don't think they're inconsistent at all. They always suck on the road.

How does Ibaka come up with that rebound??????? That is fucking horrible. Mailing it in, Blazers.

We're all playing like a bunch of pussies. I have seen this team go toe to toe with the likes of LA, SA, DAL, MIA, and CHI this season, but tonight we look so intimidated. WTF. Wake up.

Maybe we'll fall to the 8th seed and the Spurs will lose Duncan and Ginobili for the playoffs?

This just re-affirms my belief that one of the biggest signs of a mediocre team is how they respond to a big win. Instead of building on it, they lay this egg.

Aldridge hit a nice off-balance jumper over Perkins after trying to get inside

I like OKC is a bad match-up for the Blazers. I'm happy with the 6th seed.

If the Spurs lose Duncan AND Manu for the rest of this season, they won't be the #1 seed.

was it a big win? win by 2 at home over spurs without duncan?

And by the way, you only ever say that when we respond with a loss. But a lot of times (see win over Dallas), we respond with a win at which point, you go silent.
