Good God. Why was Blake in there at the end instead of Miller? I kept having horrific visions of last year when he choked away the game.

Which one? If Blake hadn't choked in a few games last year, we win the division outright, don't face Houston in the playoffs, thus we win the 1st round, then we win out and get the CHAMPIONSHIP.

If only Blake hadn't choked.

No he didn't do well at all tonight really. Yeah he made that 1 nice pass, but Bayless was doing that consistently for Blake. Miller couldn't score much either, just another rough game for him. Bayless definitley outplayed him tonight.

Well I could come back with all the miss shots Bayless had, but he did do really well with assists and hit some big shots late. Seems like we have to put down another player to defend a player. I'm actually glad we have all three PGs.

Miller did pretty well. I know of at least one Blake's baskets was thanks to Miller.

Miller was borderline terrible. Whoopee, he had 3 assists, and Eric Gordon and Baron Davis took turns clowning him.

Patty is currently warming up in the D league.

Haven't paid much attention. Has he played in a game yet?

I actually am a big Mills fan. I could see him being a playmaker in this league.

Baron Davis seemed to have Miller's number. They've played agaist each other for 10 years after all. Good thing Davis shot his team out of the game to make up for it.

yah if baron hits a few of those... we lose easily. 13 missed shots is pretty bad. but if la played.... we win by 10 easy

If GO, Przybilla, Batum, Outlaw, etc play... Shoulda, coulda, woulda... What if?

I'm damn impressed that these guys are playing some ball without some key components.

That's fine, you don't have to think Bayless did well tonight. I wasn't putting Miller down, I was just merely stating that Bayless was doing a bit better tonight with his passing (and something I am excited about because I want him to have a future here), but the fact is, Miller did not do anything well in tonights game.

Ya never know. Pendergraph and Dante made some plays tonight. Would LA have rebounded as well as Pendergraph did? Ya never know.

In what, 25 mins?

Yeah, great job by Jeff.

Although if we don't have LA next game, who would've thought our rotation on the front line would be Juwan/Pendergraph/Cunningham/SBo? haha.. wow..

Let's just ask, "Would LA has rebounded...?" He'd have had some rebounds, but he wouldn't have matched JP.

Miller was borderline terrible. Whoopee, he had 3 assists, and Eric Gordon and Baron Davis took turns clowning him.

Miller got 6 points on 7 shots, Blake 10 on 8 shots, Miller 3 assits to 2 for Blake. Miller did it in 8 less mins than Blake. If Miller had a terrible game than Blake had just as bad of one.

LMA has gone 18/10 over the past 5 games before tonight.

I love Lamarcus (didn't want some LA fans saying I love LA) as much of the next guy, but I'm not going to go by LA's last five games when looking at his rebounding abilities. Thus far in his career, he leaves something to be desired as far as rebounding. He's Sheed without the explosion. To date, he hasn't proven that he's a legit rebounding machine.

I'm just pointing out a fact. LMA has rebounded more since the centers both went down. At least he's shown he can rebound if necessary.

Hey, it's an opinion. I feel BLANKY helped the team more than Miller did tonight. If you don't agree, no biggie here.

A fact that's a short-term trend, not something that he's done over his entire career. The Blazers rebounding percentage has gone down since GO and Joel went down. That means we're rebounding fewer available rebounds (which is to be expected). Thus, there are more opportunities for guys to rebound. LA should be averaging 10 a game and then some.

One think Blake also did that Miller didn't was almost/try to give the Clippers the lead/victory. Of course, overall I felt Blake did better tonight as well, but why do we keep using Blake as the inbounder. There is two things he should never ever being doing in the fourth that is being at the free throw line and inbounding.

And your not putting Miller down? Hmmm.

Well that isn't a fact it's your opinion.

In my original post I didn't say a word about Bayless. You brought him up. My post was a reply about the comparision of Blake and Miller.

I didn't say Bayless didn't do well tonite. I pointed out I could put down part of his game, but he also did well and pointed out how a lot of posters seem to think they have to put down other players in defense of their player which you seem to be doing now even though you weren't putting him down supposely.

I agree here. Sometimes it's not all about stats. It's what the team gets done as a whole when you're on the floor, and I think the team got more accomplished with Blake on the floor tonight than Miller. Obviously you can say take a look at who else was on the floor at the time. Well, Miller is a starter, plays with the starters, and I still felt like the team did better with Blake on the floor tonight than Miller.

Other nights, the Blazers look better with Miller than Blake. But tonight, Blake was the better of the two.

Really, there's only one thing Blake shouldn't be doing during the fourth quarter: PLAYING.

Cool.

I'm happy we go tthe win. You know teams are coming in here looking at all our injuries and thinking they can get a win so they are going to play better just because they think they have a chance.

BLANKY is 100% for the season in 4th quarter clutch time (up/down by 5 or less, <5 minutes).

Ya, I agree. That's why I said I'm glad we have both of them. Bayless too. I just don't see why some people seem the need to put down one or the other to defend the player they like better. I think some feel they are just coming to the defense of one so attacks the other.

Kaman was using the entire Blazer front court as his tampon. I'm amazed they didn't go to him every time. He was automatic.

I love the win. I love seeing our future back court (Roy and Bayless) step it up with Aldridge out. But I think this win mostly comes from the Clippers' stupidity for not taking it inside more, specifically to Kaman.

Naturally, blame Nate.
