I wonder if they sold reversible LeBron jerseys.... Cleveland on one side and Miami on the other.

Once again, T-Rob provided some really important energy and toughness.

IMO it was a huge mistake not extending him

Yup. We extend the big white bust, but not the guy who has been busting his ass since we traded for him. Makes no sense to me. This summer could be a huge mistake if things don't go to plan. I have no idea what Neil is hoping for.

I am so happy the Blazers won so I can now go watch "Sex Sent Me to the E.R." and I can really focus on it!!! Thanks Blazers!!! RIP CITY BABY!!!!!

peace out,
daddylogan

Solid first effort, sir. Welcome to RipCityTwo

I missed watching T.Rob be what we've come accustomed to. I agree that I wish we should have extended T.Rob, but I understand why. I just wished it was Leonard instead of T.Rob

CJ is neither big nor white... :dunno:

I would really like all the Nic haters to go back and watch his defense tonight. He was on LeBron and Kyrie tonight and played fantastic. No stats will show up in the boxscore showing what he did on that end, but that was the key to this victory. It's not always about scoring.

I think that's what went wrong in the first 3 games - Nic was guarding Lillard.

C'mon, HCP. You know better than most this was a great team effort defensively.

It was an OUTSTANDING team effort on the defensive end. But I saved at least 11 or 12 possessions, where Nic completely locked a Cavs player up. That will neither show up in the boxscore or be acknowledged by the very knowledgeable fans here on S2.

I agree with this! Repped!

TRob showcasing for a contract is actually a good thing

But Houston we have a problem. Not exercising our option on T. Rob ties our hands. We will not be able to match anything that is valued over his rookie scale contract. What if he plays to a level where teams offer him like 6 mil? We wouldn't be able to keep him.

Then let him play and earn his next contract. Possibly use him as trade bait before the all-star game.

Not if we have his contract done before anyone elses. I really dont' expect T.Rob to get a huge offer though, 3y 12-15 sounds about right for him if he continues to show what he did last night. If he doesn't show that on a regular basis then a lot of small deals are coming his way.

But I think that players can talk to teams before contracts can even be finalized right? I could be wrong. Whatever the case, I'm sure teams would be calling his agent.

Yea there is a 7 day period between when Free Agency starts and contracts can be signed. Players can talk and agre to deals in that 7 day period.

Just watched game replay. Felt like watching a san antonio machine, just slowly build a lead dont allow any big deficits by the end of the game you are up 20. This is how we need to play 60+ games this year.

I really enjoyed barton's defense. I think the peoples champ is my dark horse bench guy this year. I really liked the rotation in this game, I think danger will Robinson duo brings that spark the bench needs. Cj still needs work and freeland/Leonard are good insurance bigs if someone goes down.
