Well, you said he was consistently bad. He was pretty average to mediocre in that game, so there you go.

I respectfully disagree. I think we will compete against the Lakers and Cavs and we'll win at least one of them, especially if LMA and Blake play. I'm more concerned with the Grizz than I am with the Lakers. Pau Gasol's hurt and we always beat the Lakers in the Rose Garden no matter who is on our roster.

Since the Spurs game, he has shot 25% from the field. TWENTY FIVE PERCENT. That's awful. If you've read this forum the last two seasons, you know that I'm a big Jerryd Bayless fan and supporter, but I get to be disappointed when he shoots 25% from the field over a 6 game stretch.
 
grizz seem to have our number of late... game after all star break at home where the grizz played us right down to the wire. remember last april that game where we won in OT? and then they recently killed us when we were healthy? that wa

grizz seem to be a bad matchup for us. soon they will be in the class of philly... blazer killers.

What's "WOW"?

A) The Grizzlies have won 7 of their last 10 games.

B) The Grizzlies went on a 31-2 run against us in our building so they are not intimidated

C) Tomorrow's game is a second game of a back to back after travelling the night before.

D) The Lakers haven't won in the Rose Garden in years.

E) The Lakers will likely be without their 2nd best player while the Grizzlies' stars are healthy.

I'm not saying the Grizzlies will beat us. I hope they don't. But I do not agree with Mixum that IF we lose to the Grizzlies, we will automatically lose 4 straight. I believe we could bounce back.

Like I said earlier, if we win all 3, I'll forget this Clippers game.

If LMA plays, we can beat them. No question. But the game shouldn't be taken for granted.

You have said yourself you post tongue in cheek...essentially I read it as trying to get a rise out of people and posting things that are not actually believed (see sig quote). Occasionally I find it funny...when it goes on too much I find it boring and slightly irritating.

I tend to see M and yourself as just being pot-stirrers sometimes for your own enjoyment...I don't get enjoyment from it so I ignore for a while. Those are my opinions and of course you're free to have a different ones. No worries.
 
Wow, Glad I stopped reading the game thread last night, it f'n turns into a troll fest show, starring Kingspeed and Mixum. Luckily I have Mixum on FFVB ignore, but not KS.....KS is almost there. Always the same shit, trying to be that passive aggressive negative nancy, always aiming to get a rise out of people.

You win some and you lose some. As long as the team plays hard with all that has gone on is all I can ask. The only part of the game the Blazers didn't get the effort was defensivly, and I am not so sure there was a whole lot more that could have been done without a shot blocker type in there. If Lamarcus had played last night, I can't help but think we would have won, and all this bitching would be moot.:devilwink:
 
Went to the game at that Hyde Lounge. Pretty dead arena...its more fun watching in the stands than in the luxury boxes, but you get a good view.
