• Wednesday’s game marks the first of two regular season matchups between the Trail Blazers and the Heat during the 2017-18 season.

• LAST SEASON: Portland swept the season series with Miami, 2-0.

• Portland has won three consecutive games against Miami and four of the last six meetings between the two teams.

• Damian Lillard averaged 34.0 points (50.0% FG, 61.1% 3-PT, 94.4% FT), 2.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists in two games against Miami last season. In his last visit to Miami on March 19, 2017, Lillard scored 49 points on just 21 field goal attempts. Lilllard shot 14-of-21 from the field, 9-of-12 from the three point line and 12-of-12 from the free throw line.

• CJ McCollum averaged 17.5 points (41.2% FG, 30.0% 3-PT, 80.0% FT), 4.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists in two games against the Heat during the 2016-17 season. McCollum’s best game against Miami came on April 2, 2016. In that contest, McCollum finished with 24 points and seven assists while shooting 6-of-6 from the three point line.
