Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

Wright with a sloppy play. Pass the ball around, guys!! come on!!!

And now Bowen to Chandler for the alley-oop. We can't continue to play like this.

Ah, a good play from the start. Krstic goes down low, gets position. Kidd throws it down perfect to him. score.

Jackson got so lucky on that bank shot.

Wright-Chandler jump. uh oh. of course, Tyson gets it..

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

I love Jason Kidd. He saw Wright, gave him the perfect pass, and got Wright to the line.

They pretty much let Bowen take that shot. good thing he sucks at shooting.

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

What a horrible, horrible team. No offense, no defense, unbearable.

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

Yeah, that was not a good attempt by Wright.

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

What the hell is RJ doing leavin Peja wide open?!?!?!?!

Holy shit. terrible perimeter defense.

Hell, put Wright on him.

I agree. The only thing going right is Kidd, Krstic, and RJ on offense.

The defense sucks completely.

WHo said we were a good defensive team?

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

Good attempt at a play by Wright...but I think he shoulda been in position to shoot a 3. He woulda gotten a nice shot. That was a terrible pass to Krstic, too.

Wow. Allen actually played better perimeter defense than RJ. wtf.

and then no call. GREAT. MoPete with the 3. Jefferson with the 3. RJ's doing too much on offense, we need someone else helping him out so he could play better D.

Also, what's up with double teaming in the post?? It's not like we're going against Garnett again. What the hell is Frank telling this team to do? Let them take 3's?? they're 8-11 from 3 point land.

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

Chandler thinks he can beat Nenad every time. I'm not so sure that's true.

Supposedly, Kidd, RJ, and Wright are great perimeter defenders. Not seeing it at all this game.

I'll go far as to say Vince with his sprained ankle could play better defense against those shooters than the guys we got in the game right now.

Malik Allen STILL sucks. TAKE HIM OUT. HE SUCKS.

Chandler's having fun, because the perimeter guys are killin it out there. It doesn't even matter if he can beat Nenad.

Wow, a great block by Kidd. Too bad it was on a fast break, caused by a Krstic TO. Shit.

FINALLY Allen is out.

I don't know why Nenad thought he could make a reverse layup while being double teamed right underneath the basket.

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

I'm looking forward to the IZOD tour at the half, I wonder how it looks?

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

We're a completely different team without VC. Even when he is struggling from the field, he draws the attention of all defenders. That causes the opposition to slack off their assigned man, and gives them easier opportunities to score.

The same way as former CAA?

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

Why not play Jamaal Magloire?

I still have no idea on you, Lawrence Frank.

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

Without Marcus, now plus Vince, we are really terrble on offense.

Only RJ could hold it up.

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

I dont get why he is playing Allen alongside Krstic. Magloire, Collins or Williams should be playing alongside Krstic imo.

Good point. Does anyone know what happened to Jamaal Magloire?

I was hoping he'd be able to take some minutes from Allen. Cause, ya know, Allen sucks.

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

Very interesting that Magloire has not played, indeed.

Probably because of the pace of the game. Even Collins haven't seen much time as Hornets run the floor very well.

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

Malik Allen is just sucking, can't rebound, play defense, and make the jumpers.

Why we have so many bigs, but most of them are scrubs ?

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

I miss Marcus and Carter, why is this team always soooo miserable.

If that is true, then Lawrence Frank is an idiot. It's not like Malik is helping at all.

He's just making things worse out there. Ugly shots, doing nothing on offense, letting them get easy buckets on defense.

The only good thing I've seen him do is close out on a Peja three-pointer. And then shortly after, he let an easy layup get by.
