Horrible. Just horrible. Horrible execution down the stretch, and horrible play calling

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

how am I supposed to do homework tonight? These nets just completely ruin my nights, they seriously cause premature aging

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

Someone please explain to me why Nenad was in and got two shots cold off the bench?

geta real coach in here this season please. someone with nba experience and is not afraid to tell his players the truth.

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

why kristic why..

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

And I like how it seemed like the players were TRYING to keep the ball away from jefferson. And the nets had 3 times in a row to make a play at the end of the game that would get jefferson a look and he wasnt even close to being open on one of them

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

Why not have some threat going towards the rim? I gotta blame coaching on this one. We had this game.

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

I am so fucking mad right now. We had this fucking game!!!

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

Jason Collins is the fucking criminal, he let us lose the game.

Just like he passed the ball to Haslem to make the shot in the playoffs.

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

jefferson didnt score in the 4th did he?

get frank out of here as soon as vince gets back please! his play calling sucks ass!

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

and now we're off to get knocked down to .500 by the celtics and go for a nice west coast swing to put a bow on top of all of it. Way to blow it frank and the entire nets team. J-kidd you cant dribble te ball down to 8 seconds on the shot clock and have your best passing option be some guy right next to you or some player in the corner, you have to SET PEOPLE UP!

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

I want to kill someone right now.

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

Moooo Pete, I was switching the between the Nets v Hornets & the MNF game and just really wanted to see how Peterson is doing with New Orleans this season and I was so happy when he got that 4 point play!

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

Krstic played horribly down the stretch, but he had an OK game overall. I blame Frank for coming off with offense that gave the ball to Krstic and Wright but not RJ

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

Ah, man. We had that game. Damnit!

Kidd 14 pts 9 rebs 10 asts

Jefferson 32 pts 6 rebs

Krstic 12 pts 10 rebs

Wright 12 pts 4 rebs

Williams 6 pts 8 rebs 4 blocks

Boxscore

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

It's not Nets season until the board has its first meltdown. I sense tonight will be that night.

Re: NBA: NEW ORLEANS (5-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-2)

Ah dont worry Nets fans your opponents for the rest of the month are fairly easy, worst case scenario is you go 4-4 against these teams IMO.

Boston
Orlando
Miami
Utah
Portland
Seattle
LAL
Memphis

EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey (Ticker) -- Chris Paul scored aseason-high 27 points and made a running layup over Jason Kiddwith two seconds left as the New Orleans Hornets rallied foran 84-82 victory over the New Jersey Nets on Monday.

Tyson Chandler had 14 points and 12 rebounds for the Hornets, who have now won two in a row and will play the Philadelphia76ers for the second time in four days on Wednesday.

New Orleans put on a shooting display in the first half and ledby as many and 13 points before falling apart in the thirdquarter.

The Hornets struggled to start the fourth and trailed, 79-68,with five minutes remaining but reeled off nine straight pointsto finally forge an 82-82 tie on a four-point play by MorrisPeterson with one minute to go.

On the ensuing possession, Kidd grabbed an offensive reboundwhen Nenad Krstic missed a pair of free throws for New Jersey. But Krstic missed an off-balance jumper with 20 seconds to go,and New Orleans did not call a timeout - putting the game in thehands of its young star.

Paul let the clock wind before driving down the right side andhoisting a runner off the glass and over the outstretched handof Kidd to give the Hornets their first lead of the quarter.

After back-to-back timeouts by New Jersey, Antoine Wrightmisfired on an off-balance jumper from straight away as timeexpired.

Richard Jefferson scored 16 of his 32 points in a dominant thirdquarter but failed to score in the fourth as the Nets playedwithout star guard Vince Carter, who suffered a sprained rightankle in Saturday's loss at Boston and is sidelinedindefinitely.
