The Nets are terrible. They play like Nate McMillan team.

So true, which is why there was never any drama, even when they cut it to six. They're old, kinda flabby, and really really close to falling apart entirely. I'm glad LA was out for this game in particular; it was a snoozefest for two reasons, and one is that the Nets are terrible (the other is that we're playing really smart, calm, almost San Antonio-esque basketball).

Hey that Crabbe guy looks good

Not. Surprised. He's always rebounded at a high rate.

That and the defensive scheme allowed him go be the lone man under the basket. He was out of position A LOT on defense. That has to get better. Sort of a poor mans Spencer Hawes, which is meh

Still had the lowest +/- on the team

Wes helps this team in so many ways. Leading a fast break is not one of them.......Man' s got to know his limitations.

Amazingly we didn't play that well and still won handily.

mainly because the Nets couldn't hit a wide open 3 to save their lives

After watching the game I come to realize that Dame can shoot from anywhere on the court. He brings new meaning to the McDonald's "I'll play you for it" horse game.

Haha agreed, very frustrating to watch because he usually has a wide open trailer.

mainly because our perimeter D was so money

3-0. Coincidence? I think not.

Seems like that's a growing convention, but I think it's being a little bit overrated in this case. Some Nets 3's were contested, but quite a few were actually not. They just shot like crap. If they go even 5-19 instead of 1-19 we might well have lost.

Very solid point, Crow. I was going to say that on the rewatch, it seemed that many of their 3's were open, because the one place where it actually looked like we were missing two starters was on D in the starter rotation. Leonard and Crabbe were flying around, but in an "out-of-control" flying around, rather than a "controlled chaos". They weren't alone, though...Blake's "defense" on Jack late seemed to be very odd for him to sink so low into the paint area before recovering out to contest the shot. Still, I agree with the sentiment.

He and Curry would be the last people I'd want to play horse against if my life was on the line lol

You may as well put the hangman's noose around your neck and say, "Adios!"

Just go with the old Kareem sky hook. I doubt either of them have practiced that much.

And you'd assume a 5'9 white guy like me has? lol

Then you should go with the Rick Berry underhand free throws. Put a lot of backspin on the ball and call glass.

I think I'd go with bouncing the ball super hard on the floor and hoping it would go in...
