Latley, LaMarcus has been playing more like a 2nd rounder than a 2nd overall pick. Is he just in a slump or is this the true Aldridge.

dunno if we deserved that one... :s

LaMarcus sucks. Plain and simple. Very unimpressive this season.

Greg has ways to go. The potential is there. But he has a lot of rust to shake off.

Brandon Roy is our only star. We don't have a big-3 yet.

LaMarcus sucks.

Rudy must also suck, look at his past few games. Disgusting.

Look, the Kings were playing tough D and Outlaw had to play aggressive. He tired to take it right to the basket. I like him taking the shot he took. It just didn't go down. That happens to everyone. He's made more of those than he has missed:

Rudy has been on a cold streak the last few games. He's a rookie. So I give him a pass.

This is LaMarcia's 3rd year. I'm amazed this guy was a 2nd overall pick. Chris Bosh he is not.

Worst win I've seen in a long time. We should have lost so many times.

I don't get Greg. The guy doesn't even look like he wants to play. He hasn't had a single block in three games, and really hasn't made an impact at all defensively. He had about three good games, and since then has seemed to regress as far as his reaction time and quickness. I didn't even want him to come back into the game during the fourth, and Sacramento immediately went on a big run after he came in. I was glad Nate took out after a few minutes.

Don't take it to mean I'm giving up on him, but he really needs to wake up. I'm sorry if the weight of the world is on your shoulders, just act like you give a damn. I mean three points against Sacramento's front line? Is this a joke?

Thank God for Joel. And of course Roy.

If we lose this game, our season is over.

utah just lost at home to a team we beat by 42. that must make them the worst team in the league.

we had an off night, mainly because the oden start messed with chemistry big time. for the game oden -22, prz +23

LA is dying by the jumpshot right now. He has flashes of good play but no where near where he should be with consistency.

*rolls eyes*

So lets throw out his last few seasons then, because he clearly sucked then? LaMarcus is on a slump, all players fall into a slump at times.

Not saying that Travis' last possession was good by any means . . . but the funny thing is, if he hits that shot, we'd all be here praising him for being Mr. 4th Quarter Clutch like he was so many times last year. Sometimes that's just the way the cookie crumbles.

This game shows up in the W column - that's what counts.

OT:

DJ Augustin: 25 pts 11 ast.

This guy is beastin' this season, so far.

I agree LMA has played terrible lately but I do think he will turn it around soon. I think the whole team outside of Roy and Joel have played bad the last 3 games.

I wasn't as mad about Outlaw taking the shot but not using more of the shot clock. I still would have rather seen Travis try and get the ball to Roy.

How long will it take for Greg to make an impact on the defensive end?

Joel +23 and Travis +17 had great games, the rest were average to mediocre.

Roy was a -3 due to poor defense and our offense which totally stagnates with the ball in his hands.

We got outscored with him on the floor.

LaMarcus may turn it around but I don't see too much potential. He is what he is, a jumpshooting, mediocre rebounder, timid on the block, soft post player. A slightly better version of Channing Frye.

I doubt it. Most people here are smart enough to realize that it was a bad shot, made or not.

Only KingSpeed would be praising Outlaw as Mr. 4th Quarter. Well, he still is praising him as Mr. 4th Quarter for his defense, but I guess he'll always find a reason.

We shouldn't have won this game, plain and simple. I guess we're just lucky at home.

My first reaction was to defend Greg and point to the matchup problem that Hawes and Miller present by drawing him out to the perimeter, but you do raise an interesting point. Greg looks so tentative at times, like he's afraid to mess up. The result is that he looks lost a lot of times on defense and completely rushed and frantic on offense. He is clearly going through some pretty major adjustments getting used to NBA bigs, and I wonder a little if he's got the sort of mental toughness he's going to need for long term success in the League.

But yes, Joel is a fucking godsend ... No Joel and we're likely looking down the barrel of a 4-11 record at this point -- maybe worse?

Greg needs a good tounge lashing from Brandon...It's funny Greg looked really into the game in his first shift but everything after that was like the Suns game. Was Shaq in the stands?

A couple seasons, which is to be expected.

No way he should be expected to start this year. That's just stupid on Nate's part.

His jumper wasn't falling, but he had anything but a passive game on the offensive glass and was very active on defense; he's just in a monster "hitting" slump, it happens.

Most of his shots these past few games have been in the post. He's just missing them.

But I guess it's "what have you done for me lately?", right?

He's the number one overall pick ... I don't think he should be expected to be dominant, but saying that he shouldn't start is ludicrous. If he's not good enough to start then KP miscalculated badly and should have taken a different player.

But that's just the point - the "good" teams win these games - ugly or not. If we DIDN'T win, people would be bitching about how we need to learn how to win these games . . . because that's what good teams do. Well, we won. Take the win.

I find it very hard to believe that if he made the shot people would be retarded enough to say that he shouldn't have taken it or would be bitching about a made shot. Again, I'm not trying to blindly defend the shot (it was a bad shot) but on a team with more guys that are hesitant to take the shot when it counts than not, you gotta have some guys that are willing to pull the trigger . . . and willing to be the scapegoat if it misses.

Brandon was open, Outlaw didn't give it to him.

WOW, 42 combined TO's...doesn't get much worse than that.

lol...Channing.."They've got good players and we have Brandon"

Yeah, a pretty game, this wasn't. I'm very happy we won, though. I hope the Blazers fix their shooting or their offensive plays. We've been shooting like crap these past 2 games.
