This team is so bad at home. Heres to hoping they don't get homecourt advantage come playoff time. If they even make it.
 
bahhh we are gonna regret this one in march if were trying to get a playoff spot...most likely 8th seed...

maybe we wouldnt suck so much at home if the crowd would stop oohing and ahhing over Jazz plays. that only adds gas to the fire.
 
Dooling deserves some blame to. He missed a lot of good open looks at the 3 point line. We can't afford that with the steaming pile of crap at the starting forward positions.
 
So the Jazz score 7 points in the first quarter and end up winning by double digits?
 
Really, what is the reasoning for having Yi start over Anderson at this point? Yi right now is just a one dimensional shooter with awful defense. Anderson at least has a little variety and hustle to his game.

On the flip side. Solid game by Lopez. Provided a little post scoring when the zone was giving the Nets trouble because they were bricking outside shots.
 
Yi to the D-League? LOL.
I say give Anderson a shot at being the starter(Yi has had his shot).. maybe he'll surprise us like Lopez did when he was inserted into the starting line-up.

YI is a center not a PF, he can't shoot 3's, he can't dribble the ball well, why should he play the pf position? he play center in cba(Chinese Basketball Association), nets use him the wrong way, he would better than lopez if he play the 5, i say it again.
 
Are you saying Yi would be better than Lopez??!??!? your kidding right?
 
Thats a rediculous statement. Yi has not proved he's been able to cover one low post scorer all season. He would make the worst centers in the league look like all stars on O. and would pick up 5 fouls in 1 period on de. He has no post game and most of his rebound are of the uncontested variety. Does not sound like a center or a power forward for that matter to me.

Sorry bud but this isn't the CBA, and there are actual centers taller than Yi with skill in this league lol

So I missed this game and I just saw the boxscore, but did Utah actually play good on the road or did the Nets have a meltdown?

Yi is a terrible basketball player and a waste of 7 feet. With every game he plays he continues to look like a bust. He's a decent shooter for his size and that's it. He's tall and athletic but doesn't take advantage of this and floats on the perimeter where he is semi-effective. On defense he is clearly one of the worst defenders in the league.

Brook Lopez is way better than Yi and it's not even close. I would even take Sean Williams over Yi and that's not saying much.

The Jazz were struggling in the first quarter and shot 3-19 from the field and only scored 7 points. That's probably close to a record for least amount of points in a quarter. The Nets were up 20 and somehow found a way to not only lose the lead but lose by double digits. Milsap was putting in work, mainly due to the Nets awful interior defense. Williams also did a nice job facilitating the offense. Korver also hit some big buckets in the 4th.

Why you nba guys draft yi at pick 6? are all nba GMs idots? tell me why? now you guys play yi the wrong way and train him the wrong way, i just tell you why he play so poorly and you say yi is the worse player in NBA, and yi even don't play the center, and you say yi is just a shift, okey, some day yi go off, you guys will regret what you say, if yi is just a shift, why you fucking nba draft him at pick 6.

Maybe they drafted him because the NBA didn't know he would suck so much? :dunno:

I don't understand what the big difference is with Yi playing center as opposed to power forward. They are almost interchangable. Yi matches up against both centers and power forwards on defense and opposing centers and power forwards guard him on offense.

The reason why he has played so poorly is because he is not good.

I have a question for the next ask the announcers on YES: when was the last time (if ever) that a team scored less than 10 points in one quarter and reached 40 points in another in the same game?
 
ok, why yi is the third scorer and the third rebounder in statistics, he got those statistics in 26.6min playing time and even hardly allow to go to the low post, and you guys say he is a shift, all you guys say yi almost the reason why nets lost to jazz, and actually yi got the best +/- value in this game AGAIN, he grab 7 boards in just 17min, and you guys still say he is the worse defender in the NBA, and you dear coach frank took out yi and let his best defender play then got pull away by the jazz and never look back, this lost and recently lost not yi's fault or not the main reason, and you guys just say yi is the shift is the shift is the shift, so he got no confident, and he still play his best, if you guys root for him, he would play better, it's frank's fault, he just can't control his tow all stars, let them took too much shoots, so other three guys just stand and watch and get ice cold, his 1 big 4 smalls just don't work and yi's defense just be underrated.

why yi's defense be underrated? yi did too much to help his teammates, and his teammates didn't help him, so he lost his man, he just too stupid to try to do two man's job, if he just defense his man he would be a good defender like in bull's game.

The Nets were going nowhere with Yi on the court. They really started to pull away from the Jazz after he was taken out in the 1st. He had a horrible game outside of his solid rebounding, but rebounding isn't nearly enough to justify his presence on the court.

EDIT: My bad, the Nets were up with 15-3 with Yi on the court in the 1st. I guess I just didn't feel his effect on the game in those first minutes. The Nets kept doing well after he was taken out.

IN the early season, every body invovle in the offense and sometimes even yi's shoots more than VC's, in the forth VC took over and be the hero, and every body happy, after DH go off, every thing is changed, two hero through the game, other three guys is gone, when in the forth, VC and DH is tired and other three guys is ice cold, so the game is over once again again and again.
