My plants are wilting, it’s that hot out.
Use imgur to host your photos.
If having trouble with the upload feature on the forum...
- Use Imgur.com (create account),
- If posting from phone it's easiest to install the app
- Upload picture to Imgur
- Just click the share link from your Imgur post and paste it into your S2 post.
The link should look something like this:
View attachment 73996
And return something like this:
- If you don't care if the picture is displayed with the Imgur.com header that should be good enough.
- If you only want to cleanly display your picture (without displaying the Imgur header, etc) then it's a little bit more complicated but not bad.
- Click on the picture inside your Imgur post so that the picture opens up in the app. Then click on the "share" button to copy the picture link into your clipboard.
Then paste that url into your S2 post between the img flag (which looks like this):
View attachment 73993
Note the lack of the word 'gallary' in the url, if 'gallary' is included in the url then you probably didn't open the image in the app before clicking the share link
And returns this:

I took pics of grapevines and told they are too big. Happens a lot.

That's where I think i'm failing. The resizing.
3 Skunks and cat and a racoon sound like a pre-teen sitcom title on the Disney Channel, and if it isn't, it should be.After three skunks and a cat, finally caught the raccoon. Unfortunately it shut one more time before being trapped.
For skunks you want to sneak up behind them and throw a blanket over the cage.Baby raccoon yesterday.
I see why they say leave wild animals to professionals. Skunk in trap this morning. I opened it carefully and instead of leaving quietly like skunk did last week, it nailed me right in the eyes. Not so much stink but I was completely blinded. Had to grope my way inside to nearest sink to flush my eyes. When I could see, took out contacts and cleaned them, flushed eyes some more. Not so much stink is relative. I got in shower and washed my hair. Out on fresh clothes. Everything I was wearing goes into washer. Eyes too bloodshot to wear contacts. Cleaned contacts again to be safe. Flushed eyes some more.
I saved that sucker's life and this is how it repays me. Not inclined to be merciful in future.
And if anyone "likes" I will spray you!
They have boxes that prevent cats from getting in.A neighbor out out rat poison once and killed my cat. Please use traps.
I have 6 traps spring loaded for them whenever I see a fresh hole I set a trap, kills them instead of catching them live...I keep them under control without poison on 2 acres. My neighbors cat caught one a couple days ago near my woodshed and carted it off to the woods. I'd consider any alternative to poisoning them but I don't use roundup weed killer either..my mousetraps also catch all the mice I need without poison. You don't need to use that stuff unless you have a termite infestation andd have to tent your house and fumigate. Termites and carpenter ants are going to eat your house long before a vole will. Mice I catch with peanut butter in two live traps. Occassionally I'll catch a ground squirrel in them by mistake.Got another vole today. Gonna switch to poison to try and help contain them. I feel bad but at the same time they carry diseases and can do major damage to a house.
Unfortunately they aren't going for my snap traps. I've caught them in other ways.I have 6 traps spring loaded for them whenever I see a fresh hole I set a trap, kills them instead of catching them live...I keep them under control without poison on 2 acres. My wife is really good at trapping them. they have 3 layers of tunnels and she seems to know the spots to have success...they don't always catch them right away. My mouse cages do though..they are really effective. I saw a doc on cats and apparently black cats with white chests are world champion vole/mole/rodent hunters...females especially.Unfortunately they aren't going for my snap traps. I have a cat but he is a senior and indoor. We have a chihuahua too, but he doesn't seem that interested and I don't want him getting sick going after them.My wife is really good at trapping them. they have 3 layers of tunnels and she seems to know the spots to have success...they don't always catch them right away. Unfortunately we had some rats and mice get in our house through the crawl space right at the end of COVID. I had traps everywhere and we caught dozens upon dozens. It was bad. They just breed so fast. Had to go with poison stations. Speaking of Voles being a problem for houses, rats are horrible. Had some insane mutant rats which chewed through the metal grate to get into the crawl space and didn’t even know about it until it was a big problem. Called the business “Killers” and they came out and re-patched everything and laid bait stations around the house. No issues with them since, but they frequently visit the bait stations and eat the poison. The neighborhood is fairly compact, and there’s some decent sized wilderness, and the river is nearby as well. Lots of condos across the area with garbage dumpsters, so I’m not surprised that there would be a lot of them around.Unfortunately we had some rats and mice get in our house through the crawl space right at the end of COVID. I never cared if they were outside, but can't have them in the house.
I also do not use herbicide or pesticide.
We use poison but nothing other than a rodent can get into the bait station to eat it.A neighbor out out rat poison once and killed my cat. Please use traps.
Samesies. I have dogs, wouldn't just throw poison out. Bait stations work well.We use poison but nothing other than a rodent can get into the bait station to eat it.
Got rid of outdoor water dispenser. Lashanna can come in through the cat door if she is thirsty and it was attracting other critters.
