Rudy Gay will be one of the prominent restricted free agents in the offseason. Chris Bosh, one of the top unrestricted free agents, may not consider signing with the Nets, but Gay says he will listen if and when they call in July.
"The record doesn't mean much when you're dealing with a team," Gay told The Record. "You're thinking about yourself and how you can contribute, and that's what other teams think. Wherever you feel like you're wanted the most, that's where you're going to be."
As we've previously noted, Gay could be a good fit for the Clippers as well, as they'll likely be looking for a small forward in free agency this offseason.
