So I am looking at buying this for my mates Birthday - jan 15, I heard this is a great game - any one played it?

It got rated 9.6 on Gamespot and is a serious contender for game of the year so it's a must-have, I'm going to buy it as soon as I have the money.

yeah I heard great thingds about it but I haven't actually met anyone who has played it. More a fried of a friend has it ETC.

Its gonna win game of the year. From what I saw at IGN.. its winning everythingAnd Yeah GEt it trust me its sick.. Giveit time to get use to though.... Dont judge it by playing it for a few min. Once you get the hang of it is is awesome.

Yeah, this game is really good. I got it for Christmas with my 360. Insane game.

I got the game, and its pretty damn good. Its very short tho, you could prolly beat it in a few days. Multiplayer is a blast, and that picture is actual in game graphics.
