Wow that length of ice goal was crazy but the Oilers recovered.
 
The Avs are super fast. They could be winning this game 6-0 right now but Husso is making some great saves. Assuming they close out the Blues and the Oilers finish the Flames that is shaping up to be a very entertaining WCF.
 
MacKinnon is just out of this world. That third goal...holy fuck. He's the player I am willing Zibanejad to become. I'm sure to be disappointed but one can still dream.
 
Wow! Tyler Bozak ends it!! So glad this series is continuing. After watching this game tonight these two teams are a lot of fun to watch. Glad we are getting at least one more here. Husso came up huge for the Blues. He stopped so many grade A scoring chances.
 
If Colorado doesn't end up winning the series that could be crushing for the organization for awhile. Hard to see the Blues winning two more in a row but they're a mentally tough team. Hopefully they can.
 
Colorado was incredibly lucky St. Louis had their starting goalie knocked out for the series. He was red hot and they started looking like the team that made that run a few years ago. Binnington 1.76 GA .949 save %. Husso 3.67 GA .890 save %
 
Just saw Colorado 7 Edmonton 4 after two lol.
 
7-5 now...another goal for the Oilers here would really turn up the intensity.
 
7-6! Both starting goaltenders were pulled....this series is going to be a defensive shit show and offensive clinic.
 
What we saw last night is not hockey IMO. I may be in the minority, but seeing that many goals scored is not fun. Give me a 2-1 to 4-3 game every day of the week. No D and no goaltending is not exciting to me.
 
Predictions for what they are worth - Avs in 5 or 6 and Lightning in 6.

I think the Rangers will play well and prove they belong, I just think TB is well rested and very talented and experienced. Great run for the Rangers though, that will benefit them greatly in the near future.

It would be nice to take a lead during a series for the first time with a win tonight. Getting a win tonight would make things even more interesting.

Plus no more playing against 2nd and 3rd string goalies, which was a big advantage for us.
 
As much as a Homer you think I am...I am not stupid...unfortunately if the rangers defense gives up as many scoring chances to the Lightning as they have done with the Pens and Canes..this will not bode well for our boys in Blue.
The Bolts have too much fire power and experience...

The two folks calling the games, McDonough and Ferraro, picked TB in 6 and 5. So yeah...

I think if we are all honest with ourselves its pretty safe to say the Rangers/Lightning series is going to go at least 6 games. If the Avs finish off the Oilers tonight (they're already up 1-0)...the Avs will have 12 days off before the finals start. Thats crazy.
 
That is too long, but either way the Avs will be the favorite of course. As for our series, if we win game 4 it could end in 5. If we lose game 4 it will be a 6 or 7 game series obviously.

Need to win game 4 tomorrow night I think.
