George Zimmerman Witness Can't Read Letter She 'Wrote' About Shooting

If some vigilante asshole was following me on the street and confronted me because of my presence there you can bet your ass I'd tell him to get fucked and I'd do my damnedest to smash his skull in if he pulled a weapon.

If somebody wants to confront people on the street like some kind of ersatz cop, they shouldn't be surprised when they don't get the kind of compliance they crave.

Of course you are totally far removed and dispassionate from this case.

You seem to be trying to make this Zimmerman guy into some kind of poor sympathetic character who was acting in self-defense against some street thug. He initiated the confrontation one way or another and the person he had no legal authority to detain resisted him and got shot for it.

I see it as a civil liberties issue and that's the only part I am passionate about.

Following someone isnt initiating. Its necessary but not sufficient for the altercation to occur.

So now it's against the law to follow someone, and then stop following them. Or, you're allowed to beat the hell out of someone you think is following you.

Got it. Good luck with that one.

If Zimmerman wanted to kill Trayvon on purpose, why did he allow himself to get his head bashed into the concrete, and then call 9/11 immediately after shooting him?

Right. That's exactly what I said.

For what it's worth I doubt he intended to kill him. He probably tried to detain him, got into a scrap with the kid, got overwhelmed, panicked and pulled the gun. Terrible accident at a minimum, manslaughter at worst.

How did Zimmerman "detain" Trayvon Martin? The prosecution isn't even making the claim that Zimmerman had his gun pulled on Martin and was "detaining" him.

Perhaps you should inform yourself on the prosecution's case before chiming in, eh?

Maybe "detain" isn't the right word, but they certainly came into contact at some point and a physical altercation ensued ...

Ha! Well think twice before you march yer arse into an area with Neighborhood Watch sign.
Some of those folk even own the street and graciously accept guests and want to know the difference.

Ah, got it. I just think it's going to be impossible for the prosecution to prove that Zimmerman set out to kill Martin.

Manslaughter would have been a much more reasonable charge, and I won't be surprised if they try and get that charge in now that their 'star witness' has perjured herself, and even admitted it.

Obama "If I had a son, he would look like Trayvon..."

Considering the treasonous fine line the Prez has been walking lately, spying on Americans and admitting ordering a drone hit on a couple of uncharged and untried Americans, I don't see this as any help to Trayvon's side.

Funny that the race card is being played with the person being called a creepy ass cracka.

George Zimmerman practiced MMA three times a week, but couldn't handle a 17 year old?
