It won't

The polls say otherwise. Don't underestimate just how many people continue to believe him despite all evidence to the contrary.

I should be happy about this but instead I'm just depressed because it never seems to even make a dent. I still think he's more likely to win the presidency again rather than actually spend time in jail.

We're living in a time that will be talked about for centuries. It's very odd.

It's low that either jail or presidency happens. Unless he cheats to get in (which how can he now, his actual able-bodied people under his spell is dwindling and he will be under VERY watchful eyes)

I think he's more than likely going to flee the country at this rate than any of those two things happening. He has 91 charges. He has to prove his innocence IN COURT (not the public) 91 times. He will freak and leave. Hope the courts hold him but I'm having my doubts.

1. I wholeheartedly agree...but the sad thing is that most all politicians are "dirty".

2. Thank you, Sir...I've been harping on this for years.

3. I'm all for that too.

Agree many are on the take, if they commit crimes regardless of party, race, sex, religion, hold them accountable.

He will lose the primary if he isn't in jail.

From the tea leaves, it means several things the other indictments dont carry:

He can be held for bail unless the defendant (trump) can prove he wont tamper the witnesses, judge, etc. Considering that 12 hours before it he had tried to intimidate a witness, this has the highest possibility of actually putting him in jail until his trial date. Interestingly enough, he has cried about a two-tiered system. It'd be awfully interesting if he were able to skirt this despite the mountain of evidence showing he cant keep his mouth shut.

These are unpardoned charges. Meaning he cant ask for a pardon, pretty much.

Its yet another mountain of charges he would have to be proven innocent on. (I believe he's up to 92 charges, if I read correctly)

This one out of all of them is the one that could fuck him up the most. Theres a mandatory minimum sentence (meaning he cant be let out on probation, etc) of 5 years for the RICO charges.

He is going to be getting his mugshot and height/weight reported (Which for his ego will kill him lol).

This one will be on national TV.

This is also the one where they have the video call of the "Find me 11,000 votes". Meaning, they already have him on tape doing one of the crimes they just indicted him on.

As they say, this hits different, and this is the one people have been waiting for more than any other one, because of the wide scope and evidence that already shows the crimes.
What charges will he go to court on first…..I’ll be honest and don’t even know how many and where he is in trouble.

The charges were all read out on the major networks the last couple days....(clue...twitter is not a major news network).

If you mean just any charges there's one starting at the beginning of the year.

For these, Fani wants this all to be wrapped up in 6 months.

Don’t trust your link ma’am. Just tell me. When does he go to court first? For this?
august 25th he has to surrender to the court and this time get a mug shot and fingerprinted. All 19 have to surrender by that date. The judge wants to try this case within 6 months I read.

Just want to know when he is finally going to be IN court. Tired of seeing nonstop stories about hoe he is arrested for this or charged for that. Just want to see him up on the stand is all.

One of his court cases is due for Jan 2, 2024 two others I believe are scheduled for next spring sometime. He should be behind bars already, I get that.

Trump and his attorneys are going to try and postpone everything until after the next presidential elections. His hope is that if he is president again he can't be held accountable or locked up for his crimes.

So which trial comes first is up to how well his lawyers can stall.

His hope is if he is President again, then it will have been 8 years until they can try him and it will be past the Statue of Limitations. So they need the trials to be next spring, not that his base will believe any of it.

Georgia will be televising it whenever it happens. Dates take time. He has to surrender first then the trial will happen and America will see it.

Trump supporters post names and addresses of Georgia grand jurors online
A fringe website featured the purported names and addresses of the Fulton County grand jury that indicted Trump and 18 other people for their efforts to overturn the 2020 election.

ATLANTA — The purported names and addresses of members of the grand jury that indicted Donald Trump and 18 of his co-defendants on state racketeering charges this week have been posted on a fringe website that often features violent rhetoric, NBC News has learned.

NBC News is choosing not to name the website featuring the addresses to avoid further spreading the information.

The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office declined to comment. District Attorney Fani Willis faced racist threats ahead of the return of the indictment, and additional security measures were put in place, with some employees being allowed to work from home.

The grand jurors' purported addresses were spotted by Advance Democracy, a nonpartisan research group founded by Daniel J. Jones, a former FBI investigator and staffer for the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee.

“It’s becoming all too commonplace to see everyday citizens performing necessary functions for our democracy being targeted with violent threats by Trump-supporting extremists," Jones said. "The lack of political leadership on the right to denounce these threats — which serve to inspire real-world political violence — is shameful.”

Advance Democracy also noted that users were posting the names and images of people believed to have been grand jurors on other social media sites. The posts asserted that the jurors had posted on social media in support of Sens. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Raphael Warnock, D-Ga., former President Barack Obama and the Black Lives Matter movement.

The indictment issued Monday lists the names of the grand jury members but not their addresses or other personal information.

Not sure if there's a law against doing that...but if not, there should be.

Read the whole thing...needless to say, there was an overabundance of "legalese" but you correctly boiled it down to; "Fani Willis telling Jim Jordan to go fuck himself".
Loved it when she said if you don't want to be charged with a felony in Fulton County, don't commit a felony in Fulton County. Boom!
