The comments, of course, have been overwhelmingly pro-GW.

I wonder if this means that he won't opt out this summer? That would significantly affect the Blazers cap space.
All the more reason to trade him IMO. Because for the Blazers to have any shot at improving this off season, he needs to opt out. If there is a chance he stays, we get screwed. Uprooting your family is the price you pay for making millions playing a game. I love his hustle, but he is not a good fit here long term. See ya.
I loved Gerald's energy, scrap, and aggressiveness, he was good on both ends of the floor, and used to really attack the hoop. What more can you ask for? He seems to have really lost his mojo this year though, he's just not the same.
Wallace needs to play for a team that runs more. He's painful to watch in a slow-down game.
He IS the problem, or at least part of it, at least since the beginning of the season when, no coincidence, we actually WERE running.
You know that's not actually his facebook right? I liked the Wallace, Matthews and Aldridge pages and they all post status updates right after each other. The same person or source does all three, and I highly doubt it's actually the players.
Talk is cheap Wallace. Play like you did last season, then get back to us.
I think Wallace could fit just fine at SF over the next three year window of prime Aldridge and Ever Ready Battery Bunny Steve Nash, with Batum at SG, AND A DIFFERENT HEAD COACH!Hmmm.... I really like GW. He was a guy that I really wanted on this team, but I just don't know. He's not a young guy anymore, and I'm not sure how he would fit into our plans longterm. What moves could be made this season and next summer that would include him which would make us a contender?
Then there is this. I do fear the cap hit when he opts in, but I also fear Blazers management will be incompetent in effectively using that available salary. It's really sad how little faith I have in the Blazers organization right now.All the more reason to trade him IMO.
