Glen Davis changed his last name to Neil? Or he added Neil to his last name. Which is it?

The Orlando Magic and Glen Davis have reached completion on a buyout agreement.

The Los Angeles Clippers are expected to have interest in Davis if he clears waivers

I knew that. Who is Glen Davis Neil?

You didnt put this in your OP because......

Plus, we already know that Tommy Lee and Greg Oden are half-brothers.

I think he should reach out. Davis would be a nice pickup.

We could do a lineup like this:
PG Lillard
SG Batum
SF Aldridge
PF Davis
C Lopez
Now I wouldn't want to see this all the time but it could be interesting.

Why?

Are you serious about bring in Davis Neil? He's a high USG player who can't defense. He's horrible at this point, plus his shoulder pops in and out like Mr. Potato Head's facial features.

Anyhow, I figured this thread was a joke. Since there are now two of you advocating the idea, I'll let you two GMs discuss it among yourselves. :)

I would cut Victor Claver. Then you would have Lopez, Aldridge, Freeland, Robinson and Davis. That why your not pressured to play Leonard.

Maybe you haven't noticed, but we're a little short on big men :dunno:

All the bases are covered. We are short on big men so we bring in a fat man to cover the thin issues at center. Got it! :D

If you dont' like LA taking 18 jumpers then your going to hate Big Baby taking those jumpers even more often then LA. Big baby really isn't very good and has been living off his reputation from a few playoffs games in Boston. With that being said though, signing him for the minimum for the rest of the season i'd be down in a heart beat.

Glen Davis isn't a choir boy, we can't have him messing with our chemistry! Sorry, thought i was looking at Blazersedge for a moment.

Here is an example of why you don't trade a PG for an average and undersized PF. What if Mo get injured, or worse yet, Lillard?

Coach Terry Stotts has been masterful this season managing this roster. But a simple substitution Saturday doomed this game and further exposed what has been a season-long issue. With 5:09 left in the first quarter, Stotts made his first move - inserting point guard Nolan Smith for Lillard and center Joel Freeland for Hickson. Smith and Freeland lasted two minutes and 37 seconds. In that stretch - and this is no exaggeration - the Bucks outscored Portland 17-0.

Smith, in particular, was brutal. Bucks guards Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis administered the equivalent of a public wedgie on Smith, twice swiping his pass, and once stripping him of his dribble. All three turnovers resulted in fast break layins.

“Rough stretch,’’ Smith said after the game. “Really rough stretch. I’ve gotta take care of the ball. I’ve gotta put it behind me.’’

I’m not sure we will ever see Smith play meaningful minutes again in a Blazers uniform. The only reason he is still getting a crack at it is because the other option - veteran Ronnie Price - hasn’t been much better, including Saturday, when he too couldn’t protect his dribble from being stolen.

If Glen Davis was a coke head, yet his arrival would guarantee the Blazers a title, it would be worth the risk. Instead, he's a fat guy who shoots jumpers at a worse clip than LMA, can't defend, and has a shoulder held together by year-old rubber bands that have been left in the sun for a week.
