maybe a little?

guy can't pull the right strings... yea i know i know 4 out of 5 dentists surveyed say blah blah blah about the injured starters.....

nite b4 last he pulls an accoumplished pitcher in bigs with 99 pitches, next nite he lets a youngin pitch in a close 1 wth over 100 pitches...

and here we go again back with sittin 2 of the highest paid, and doesn't use 1 as a pinch hitter cause he's gotta get his rest.. its deja freekin redickalous!!!

tex has a sore lat????????? hahahahahahahhahahh thats a first!!!

and now we r in a battle with the worst team in baseball... see any symmetry with whats going on in queens

...no, but then again, you probably hear "voices" too.

...he can't "pull the right strings" because he doesn't have the right strings.

as fatesca said today, and he happen to be 100% correct, the team is LIFELESS! and the skipper is responsible.

...quoting Francessa?... you should have quit while you were behind.

The age old curse of the Marionettes.....?

didn't Chucky come to real life....LOL....in the body of John Gruden....great Coach BTW-..../\/\/\

hear it from the booth? yankees need to be aggressive here on the base path.....

There's no way you can look at this roster and the production of these guys and blame Girardi with a straight face.

absolutely can mess, he's got enough in line up to be in a better position in the suckiest east in years... cano is doin it alone in seattle.

we have had enough juice in line up to get it done, can't have a coach who lets his players go through the motions nite in and nite out...

girardi isn't a bad coach, just doesn't motivate the team to play... not every guy is gonna be hot at same time, but you can't have every one suck at same time either....

roberts last nite bootin 1 then next play droppin 1, end of that inning martin would have been in his face, where was girardi?

joe says ' some times you play clonkers, and last nite we played 1, he lol's, blinks 100 times.... lol what the..... what do you call all the other 48 2b 49 beauties?

they are singing God Bless America..... gardner just stole 2nd

Cano is doing it all alone along with Seager who has nine more homers and nine more RBIs than Cano.

...ahhh, there's that "experience" rearing its ugly head again.

I just don't know what to "get". If Girardi slapped Beltran on the ass more often he wouldn't be batting .216?

...^^^ I think it's pretty obvious the Beltran is not himself...he can't play the OF and can't DH competently either, so they might as well shut him down and let him go ahead and have surgery on the olbow.

olbow, is that a musical instrument?

^^^ maybe his hitting ability would magically return if Girardi slapped him around a bit.

Watching a game recently Paul O'Neil commented that he knew Girardi would make a good manager. If O'Neil says so it's so, and who would you rather see manage this team?

By now you may have heard that I'm not now have been or ever will be a fan of Girardi but I have to be fair here. Just as you can't blame Washington (Rangers) for all the injuries he's had to deal with, you can't blame Girardi for losing 80% of his starting staff.

Huggins? McCarthy? Stengel? Torre?

lol..... who's is talking about the pitching staff, if you haven't noticed the rotation is doing just fine, its the bats that need a wake up call... and girard's got to get on these guys.. PERIOD!

and that starts with strategy... first off, ellsbury needs to be our leadoff guy, gardner needs to learn how to steal a base, tex needs to go the other way, but my goodness, the shift works !!!! yes it does, so what does a manager need to do, he needs to have the batter go the other way, bunt a ball!!!! wake up,!!!!!! it ain't rocket science! eveything will fall into place if you make an adjustment here and there... right now its the same ole same ole from this offense!!!!!

Do you think if it was as easy as the manager just having the guy go the other way the shift would be getting used as much as it does in baseball?

there you have it again, fundemental baseball, you got 1 of the best on the mound, your team struggles for runs, leadoff guy doubles farly late in game, and what does your next batter do who ain't babe ruth

girardi can't even get his maintenance crew to properly cover field, GEEZ

...haven't you embarrassed yourself enough already?...are you also into skin grafts and root canals?

Even Smoltz made the comment on MLB that he'd never seen a team like the 2014 Yankees lose 4 of 5 starters and maintain like Girardi has had them doing especially with the sputtering offensive display that has been shown. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the man is a very under rated manager.

Girardi has Fortune 500 management skills. Now you can question his baseball decisions, but his professional mgmt skills are top notch. Now you need to have very professional employees and staff, and to Cashman's credit they bring in quality people. Now those people are struggling on the field, but professionalism gets you through the tough times.

And I thought all it took was a Snickers bar....?
