How about a pretty name, like Lilly. Maybe go Southern, like Lilly Jo or White Lilly.

I thought this might be of some substance to the discussion, because if you look at the list, a lot of players have nicknames that have little to do with their name or their game, so a Lillard nickname doesn't necessarily have to be name/game based... it just has to sound cool.
 
The anti-westbrook? They have the same jersey number. :O

I have no idea, but he's exceeded expectations from a lot of pundits.
 
Watching NBA GameTime on NBA TV late this evening and I think Greg Anthony came up with the perfect nickname for Lillard: "Deja Vu"

Kenny Smith said "He has a poise that looks like he's been here before." "Greg and I, during the break, were trying to figure out, like who does this guy play like? Because he seems like he's been in our life before."

At the end of the segment Greg Anthony turned to Kenny and said "we still gotta figure out who he reminds us of..." Smith: "I can't think of who he reminds me of--he's been here before." Anthony: "Deja Vu, man."

I like it.

Personally, I think Lillard is somewhere between a shorter Ray Allen and an ever so slightly less athletic Derrick Rose.
 
I think Greg called him that cause he thinks he's French!
 
Maybe so, but I think it's a cool nickname because there is something oddly familiar about him.

I like "Total Recall" too. Ironically, I also thought of a Philip K. Dick inspired movie name "Blade Runner".
