Maybe we will take her through the canal to the East Coast, say next November.
Just finished upgrading her OS to Windows 10. Hell of a task, replacing Serial port hardware that you can't fine 10 drivers to support. So then you need new ones that work with Radios and other gear. Just a pain.
One of the things I was hoping to get working on Win 10 was a Uber app! Shit! they ended support for that last month. What sort of dummies run business like this???
I have a computer on the boat with access multiple paths to the internet and these dummies are going to dictate I have to have a smart phone??? Maybe not.
Anyway. I will need Dock line handlers to get through the Panama canal. About a two day cruise I think, not much to do but handle a dock lines getting through the locks. West side to Colon on the East side Late November, 2019.
