just took a look at the yesterday's box score, did not see an inning of game, ok, let me go back alittle, so the yankees are fighting for their playoff lives right? do we agree? so, i see ellsbury, yanks best player, do we agree? comes into game to pinch hit? and that doesn't raise any questions? doubts? anything.......... bueller, bueller
 
Wait....Girardi was on the grassy knoll? Huh? I thought he was delivering alien tech to area 51 that day.
 
roberto and baningo show today YIKES!!!!!!! listened to bout 1/2 hour , give all these talk show hosts all the kudos in the world for puttin themselves on the line, but have these guys played any sport at any level ?

first off baningo callin joe "manager of the year" last week, caused me my lunch..

today roberto says joe did a magificent job this year OMG!!!!! he says this will b the 1st time in hisory that a coach, 2 years in a row have had the run differential in the red and still having a winning record . AMAZING!!!

then the callers came in, several attackin girardi, first off, they say they like him bout how the F do u keep jete's in 2nd spot and tex in the 4th...

they took 1 of the callers statement way out of context of course, the guy never said take tex out of lineup, but thats where they went it, until 3 callers later, called them both out on it

then statements like the yankees have overacheived this season... i'm not makin his stuff up ..... just horrible
 
then they go on to crack on the mets coach, saying get this, 'maybe if they brought in a new caoch the results of the players performance could be different. really? don't the mets like the yankees have players injured?

right out of even's mouth... ' mets coach doesn't put his team in best position to win, guess what evan , if i took a survey of all the calls that came in today bout girardi, they would say the same thing, right?

Sorry Pasta have to disagree with the last post. If I'm mgmt, I'm paying Joe to manage my brand and protect shareholder value. Some years thats get in the playoffs and go as far as you can go. Some years its just don't be an embarrassment. They know the aging players and long/big contracts were gonna hurt at some point. They knew a tread water period was coming. The manager is the guy out front making it look palatable to the fan base.
