Girlfriend/wives?

How many of you have or had a significant other that just hates when you watch sports and wants you to pay atttention to them intstead of sports? At first when i was dating my girl she hated all sports now i have her into basketball and football, two of my favorites. Is it similiar with you or different?

My girlfriend doesn't watch many sports and probably never will. She likes rugby and the Tour de France but she's not the biggest fan of any sport. She only cares about football (soccer) if France are competing well. She doesn't care much for basketball, ice hockey, or baseball in general with the exception of my favorite teams (Bulls, Sabres, and White Sox). Though I'm sure she watches the games with me because she knows how much I love and support my teams. Also the fact that we're spending time together, naturally. I suppose the best thing is that at least she actually enjoys two sports, both of which I like a lot anyway.

The only sport my girlfriend and I have ever sat down and watched together was the majority of the World Cup because she has always been big on soccer. Other than that, she will put up with my borderline insanity during the basketball season and knows when to just not mention it (for example, the week after the finals) or to just see me after the game is done. She isnt as understanding about football, but shes ok with it. However, she hates watching baseball, which is a problem because i love watching it. I'm sure ill convert her sooner or later though.

I never watch sport with my girl, but its just coz it just hasnt happened. Not coz we didnt wanna watch together.
We could watch basketball and soccer together. She like both sports. My girl is kinda sporty. Shes not one of them gurly girls that run away from balls. But shes not one of those man girls who can beat me up *shivers*.
