While many Blazers fans celebrated the chance to voice their displeasure with Felton's performance last year, a few felt the reaction inside the Rose Garden was a bit over the top.

Here's a look at what you're saying about Felton's return to Portland:

The fans were an embarrassment with their constant booing. Fine, boo the guy when he's introduced and the first few times he's got the ball. After that, show some class. The fans were representing our city to a national audience. Poorly.

I agree: all that booing just makes us look bush-league. He's just one player. He had a bad year. It cost him millions. Get over it. Celebrate your team's successes and move on

Wow, I actually feel kind of sorry for Felton.

Felton was bad last year, but quit exaggerating his role in the disaster. The ENTIRE TEAM was bad. Trying to lay it all at his feet is absurd.

Fucking some of the tight ass blazer fans need to remember how this piece of shit fucked our team over. I don't think we boo'd enough!

I never got the whole "show some class" thing.

What, we're supposed to just forgive and forget?

screw that. We don't boo enough. We aren't angry enough. We aren't loud enough.

Sounds like these people need to become Timbers fans. A nice friendly sport where games end in a tie and people sing songs and yell happy little chants.

Leave the booing and the taunting for the fans of real sports.

Yeah this sounds a lot like most fans in the 100 level. They are too "civil" and not enough "fandom". We are the 6th man and we do the talking for the team. It's pretty obvious that the blazers can come out and say "Felton was a fat fucking pig that sandbagged this organization"

Us fans must spread the gospel for the nba. Eventually New York fans will see the real Felton, and I suspect he will get worse treatment there.

most of my experiences in going to Blazer games have been in the 100 level, and apparently the fans you guys see in the 100 levels aren't the ones i see.

They're loud, they're yelling and they're cheering a lot.

Some people who have never been in the Timbers Army section during a Sounders game won't know you're being sarcastic.

Uh, in Utah they cheer when opponents go down with injury, serious or not. I consider our reaction to Felton's return far too tame and weak.

Well obviously you're one of them!

Sounds like those people need to get off their high horse and realize fandom is an emotional thing. Its why players get booed and applauded. Booing an opposing player is never a bad thing, being a bush league fans would be like chiefs fans who cheered when Matt Cassel went down with an injury or when the golden state fans refused to stop booing their teams owner as he was trying to announce the retirement of Chris

Well why fucking boo him at all? Without his shit-tastic bed shitting, shitty performance last year, they wouldn't have blown up a "going nowhere" roster and gotten New Jersey's pick, which turned into Damian. It's like the butterfly effect ... well, maybe more like the butter-roll effect?

Absolutely.

BUUUUUT. Felton does not get Karma credit for starting the ripple.

Blazers fans are recieving the payback for suffering through that shitastic season.

Doesn't mean they didn't suffer at the time and aren't allowed to express their feelings to the player who was truly unprofessional.

Seriously, if the NBA didn't have fully guaranteed contracts they would have cut his fat ass. But, their hands were tied, the fans suffered, and now they got their chance to let (the very confused) Felton know how they feel.

Ya, it's not a matter of him playing bad, it's him coming in way out of shape.

Actually it is him playing bad (he was the worst starting PG last season), due to the fact that he was so fat and out of shape.

Hell, I was booing and I was watching on TV!

If he was in shape and played bad I don't think there would have been as much hate. Then he just suck.

I think we're saying the same thing.
