Give me back Brandon Roy

Nice personal insult.
But at least try to post something useful.

@SlyPokerDog

At least this time you didn't follow me thread to thread, ordering me around as to when you will allow me to post. I was pissed off enough to fight you that day.

Retired. Bad knees. Your wish can not be granted.

You are a piece of work. I love Brandon, he is my second alltime favorite Blazer. But in no way has he had the impact on this franchise like Damian Lillard, and it's not close. IT"S NOT CLOSE.

At least this time you didn't follow me thread to thread

If you think I follow you around to threads...
Then you need to get over yourself.
I've had you on block ever since Donald Sterling happened.
You're literally one of the worst posters on this forum and frankly not that important.
Again, get over yourself.

But go ahead, keep feeling like your posts are ignored. Frankly, because they are.

If you think I follow you around to threads...

No, just that one day. I've had nothing against you in the past. Why don't you just let critics post when they want, and not try to schedule when they can post? You act as if we're so few that you can bully us. Notice the polls in various threads. We're not at all few, in fact probably in the majority.

But go ahead, keep feeling like your posts are ignored. Frankly, because they are.

So you think we should all compete to get attention like prima donnas. I just state my opinions. You don't hurt me when you accuse me of not eliciting attention. Maybe you seek to be the board star, but I don't.

I'm sick and tired of pretenders like Lillard and McCollum who gets shutted down at the very first real competition and still run their mouth about being the best backcourt in the NBA and all that BS.

It's all right to blame Olshey and Stotts but at the end of the day what really matters is your franchise player and like I said i'm sick and tired of our overrated duo, give me back a REAL superstar like BRoy, I miss him so much...

I miss Bill Walton (the player), but he's not coming back either. Bummer. Imagine how good a team Walton, Roy and Lillard would be if all were healthy and in their primes.

But, they're not. So, wishing they were is pretty fucking pointless, isn't it?

Only one of those three is healthy and wearing a Blazers uniform these days. How about we given him the respect and support he deserves and appreciate what we have? You may not, but people who now almost as much about basketball as you do voted him 1st team All NBA and 4th in MVP voting.

No one wanted to see Broy’s career end the way it did, at least not in Portland. Loved watching him play, I don’t know why we can’t appreciate Broy, CJ, Dame, etc. I’m actually in favor of trading CJ and NO to someone else for a good 3 or bigger 2g. For NO they can just send us a card or something (kind of joking...)

I would trade the whole team for one Brandon Roy.

Prime Roy > CJ.

Roy
Nurk
Dame
Aminu
Collins/Harkless/Trent Jr.

Damn, that would be a good lineup.
Meh. Roy was great for what he was. But he came off as a prick. Especially with Andre Miller. He played no defense and was a ball hog.

Eh, that whole Andre Miller thing was overblown by attention whores like Jason Quick.

It wasn't like Roy went up and outright stated something like "Miller shouldn't be on the team". Instead, it was during a conference interview setting where he responded to a question about the team being inconsistent/slower than usual, he responded he felt slower because they put a "kind of slow" player next to him (obviously referring to tempo and not how fast one is athletically) and thus, the team rhythm wasn't in sync - which is a straight up observation, if worded a bit poorly. Otherwise, he apologized for his comments in front of teammates a day or two later - which the players didn't even know what he was talking about.

And honestly, Miller - as stalwart as he was - was an extremely bad fit next to a player like Roy. Great oops, iron man athlete, and a few memorable games but he was a PG with tunnel vision that couldn't shoot or play much defense. I think because he was, at the time, PDX's best PG since Strickland and the Blazers replaced him for Felton, us Blazer fans tend to romanticize him.

Plus, fans need to not have unrealistic expectations for people lol. Years from now, some of you guys will be bitterly posting about Lillard complaining about social media and All-Star games. Like, get over it, sometimes players say the wrong thing after being frustrated. It's not like Dame or Roy were doing what Kawhi did by not speaking to the team for a whole year or MJ sucker punching teammates.
