Draymond Green is in the top 3 of All Star West Frontcourt Voting. Ahead of media darlings Blake Griffin and Anthony Davis. Yes, Kobe is getting votes but it's a career achievement award. Still, I think it's pretty cool that a guy like Green may get in merely because he's good. Makes me believe Lillard could start someday if he steps up and earns it.

Maybe but Oakland/San Francisco has a much larger population base from which to get votes from.

Not the same sport, and not the all star game, BUT, they did this poll for some MLB thing, and this guy named Sogard from the Oakland Athletics won over Felix Hernandez in some fan vote... forget what it was about... Still shows to a small extent what you're talking about.

So we are to give credit to all the "laker fans" for being Warriors badwagoners?

I read that he did spend some time putting on events in China this past offseason. If the All Star game started today he would be starting.
