The text is too faded, try to make it stand out more, the "King Bee" text is horrible, i doubt it should be a purpleish color, the b/g is just plain ugly, the pic is distorted, i dont like that drop shadow on him, it makes him look worse, the boxes and pics of him should be closer together.

I agree that the smaller pictures should be closer, I like the background a lot though. I think what disrupts it is the "King Bee" text, placement and font. Taking it away and fixing the picture spacing would make it look a LOT nicer. Your call on where to re-place the text though.
