This is a big deal. Airlines are shut down hotels are shut down. I can't do my work either.

I don't see any major shutdown on the news so not sur what your situation is but no alarms in Lane County Oregon about shutdowns

Just read about it now...Microsoft says they've fixed the glitch in the Matrix already so should be over already...

Leave for Paris Monday morning….better get that shit fixed FAMS!

Kinda not safe for work because of the f' word.

This ironically is the same company that the FBI contracted to do the investigation into DNC emails that were leaked to DCLeaks and WikiLeaks.

The they testified under oath to Adam Schiff of the House Intelligence Committee that they had no evidence that Russia had stolen the emails.

Assange himself, breaking with protocol, said that he did not receive the emails from Russia or from any forgien government. That indicates an inside job.

Let's see, who had access to the emails from the inside, and was shot twice in the back with nothing stolen, weeks after the leaks...hmm...

One Software Just Halted The World Economy - LIVE

Edit: It is explained what happened within the first minute and a half.

Literally this very minute sitting on the PDX tarmac trying to get home from Michigan. My flight was originally scheduled for 830 Friday morning and I have been in an airport or on a plane since 6am yesterday.
You could say I’m ready to get home.

Can you see the news? You might be part of the outage.

I was in fact on the train yesterday morning, and amazingly enough, Amtrak didn't seem to be affected at all (or at least, not my train).

It's true, they didn't seem to like having pirates shooting down through the roof at them.

We did get off the Tarmac but the problems were not quite over. We sat at the gate for about 30 mins before they could let us off the plane.
In all my years traveling I have never really seen PDX that full of people waiting for flights. Not saying much because I’m sure there have been worse.

This is a picture of baggage claim. That carousel is over flowing with bags. There were three flights on one carousel with lines of people trying to pick up baggage at the window from prior flights.
We did get lucky enough to get our baggage from our flight.
The cascade effect of passengers having to change from cancelled flights after already checking bags was a pretty big problem.

Shoulda been there the week after Alaska Airlines lost their door plug. Took 3 separate trips over 5 days to get my granddaughter on a flight home. The airport concourse was a sardine can pretty much every day.
