glowing text

what is the easiest way to make the text look like its glowing in photoshop? Just want it to be a really brite white color....

yeah I kno, im using photoshop alot in school and I did my work so I have alot of free time to mess with it. its sick. Anyway, yeah I prolly will start postin in the forums more now that the season started up.......peace

Do you have a specific example? Out glow works, but I don't like the look of it - there are some other ways.

its cool im all set for now I figured it out mostly but dont want to use it for the sig im workin on

use drop shadow but make the shadow the shade of the color yoou want. and mess around with the settings
