<{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Bynum isn't a defensive anchor or franchise player.
He averaged 13 and 10.
Would you have drafted Bynum over Oden if you had the chance?</div>
Are you kidding me? The A-train is a beast defensively. I cant believe you just said that. Defensively he is sound, but offensively is where he needs to improve and tell me if the Blazers had Bynum instead of Oden people wouldnt be calling him a "Franchise player" too.. come on now. And yes he did average 13ppg, BUT he really didnt need to score for that Lakers team. Also to answer your other question i dont think most people knew how good Bynum could be and how quickly he would start to Blossom so we didnt hear as much fuzz with him unlike with Oden and people calling him the next " Tim Duncan" So if I had to pick one i probably would have gone with Oden, But for this game and where Bynum is at this point today and where Oden is at right now, I would go with Bynum %100.
And how can you call Oden a " Franchise player" or a defensive anchor if he hasnt even played a game yet!! YOU JUST CANNOT DO THAT!
</div>
Reading comprehension.
I said Oden has the ability
to become a franchise player and defensive anchor.
Bynum is NOT a defensive anchor. Stop relying on how many blocks per game a player has to judge his defensive abilities.
I'll always question Bynum's work ethic and attitude, too. He's a guy who is playing for a contract...when he gets that contract, you better hope he keeps playing as hard as he can.
Oden has had one knee injury
, Bynum has had recurring. That's not good. If Oden hurts his knee again, it's a huge worry, but Bynum is now 20 years
old and has had more than one issue with his knee.
What do you mean he didn't have to score for that Lakers team? They had Kobe...and that's about it.
"So if I had to pick one i probably would have gone with Oden, But for this game and where Bynum is at this point today and where Oden is at right now, I would go with Bynum %100."
Contradictions much? Way to cover both bases. I'd take Oden, but I'd take Bynum. What““
</div>
No contradictions my friend, I said if oden and the 2005 bynum were both in a draft i would have taken Oden, but today knowning where both players stand today, i would take Bynum. And i did not know Andrew had more than one knee surgery. Also that lakers team had Kobe, Radmanovic, Odom and fisher ahead of Bynum. He was in for his defensive presense alone, Not scoring.
</div>
So a franchise center that has Radmans, Fisher, and Odom ahead of him? Do you want Radmans and Fisher to be in your top 4 scorers?
</div>
Ok the kid is 20 years old and averaged just about 13 points per game, that is not bad at all imho. And like i said before, He needs to improve offensively, but 13ppg for his first year as a starter is not so bad for a 20 year old freak. And Honestly I dont expect Bynum to score 30 a night, 2 or 3 years from now hell be a 20-10 guy for sure.

Odom averaged 14 ppg while fisher almost 11. So he was behind Kobe and just a tad behind Odom (1 more ppg than Bynum)whom is a proven vet and an all around player.
Once again, scoring is not his forte but he isnt horrible either.
</div>
So he didn't need to score or he didn't score because he was still young?
Make up your mind.
</div>
What?! He really didnt need to score all that much ( Besides kobe, the scoring was pretty well balanced) and he is a YOUNG player. Can you point to me where I said that he didnt score good enough because of his age? Thank you.
