You need a center. In an all-nba draft, I would have Wilcox as my 3rd string forward / 5 bigman in the rotation.

I think you're underating Wilcox a bit, he could start on a lot of teams in the league and would be a solid first choice combo PF/C off the bench for any team.

He's no 3rd forward 5th option scrub.

all-star? no, solid player.. yes.

13 ppg, 7 rpg and 52% from the field is not baaaaad.
all done in 28 mpg too ;)

Steals of the draft so far?

I say:
Vince Carter at #51
Mike Dunleavy Jr. at #86
Zach Randolph at #102 (Come on, 17.6ppg and 10.3rpg is great any way you slice it)
Andres Nocioni at #125

And yeah, I brought this up cause I'm proud of the Noc pick.

None of them are steals

Vince should be the #2 guy on a team
Dunleavy shouldn't be more than a #3 guy
Zach is a piece of shit who puts up stats. He only helps his team lose
Noc isn't a starter

Travis Outlaw was an awesome pick!

Thanks!

He's definitely a great 6th man, who can play starter's minutes.

I know! Especially with the level of big men currently in the draft, it'd probably be a better idea to wait until the next round.

Great idea.

Wilcox has no excuses for not playing better or earning more playing time during his time in Seattle. He is what he is, a rotation big (i.e. between what you and jigga are saying)

I am very disappointed in Wilcox. He's a great athlete, but he never developed his skills like I thought he would. His rebounding is way low. Where are the blocks? He can jump out of the building! It's never happening with this guy.

Wilcox shoulda stayed at Maryland that extra year. He was awesome there, but never developed any real skill, just was hammering everything.

He has exceeded my expectations

Where is JMK when you need him?

I hope Sean Williams turns out a LOT better than Wilcox did. Wilcox was never a shot blocker like Sean, but he looked like he could develop a jumper, become a good man defender and great rebounder and he never did any of that.

Any thoughts on my team?

PG Mo Williams
SG Vince Carter
SF Carmelo Anthony
PF Drew Gooden
C Emeka Okafor

The way I see it, I have 3 players who can create their own shot, one player useful for the pick and roll (Gooden has a nice mid range shot), a good presence on the boards but I think I need more defensive prowess.

Okafor is going to cry like a baby about never getting the ball on offense.

lol yeah all I saw from that is that he would hate not playing PF. I'm also wondering where the defense is going to come from, save Vince Carter (who impressed me post-Kidd trade and post-injury with his defensive intensity).

mo williams/carter/melo/gooden all suck on defense and need the ball to be effective on offense.

How come whenever someone asks about their team, it's only negative feedback??

sorry, let me rephrase.. how come whenever some one asks about their team 90% of the feedback is negative ;)

I disagree with 3 of those, and I'm surprised by the one I agree with. Apart from Carter, the only steal I can see is Stuckey. There might be cases made for Barbosa or Foye, or even Noc or Dunleavy, but Zach Randolph is never a steal. Zach Randolph is not a player you want on your team. He has all the talent in the world, sure, but in general you want players to use that talent for good (ie, helping your team win) rather than evil (ie, helping your team lose). And Zach Randolph uses his talents for evil. He's Mr. Negative.

Thank you kind sir. Thoughts on my team-

Dalembert
Milsap
Lebron
Redd
Stuckey

??

PG: Paul
SG: Rip
SF: Parker
PF: Maxiell
C: 'Sheed

Thoughts?

IMO it looks like you drafted BPA, but are left with too many people out of position. I can only picture Sheed playing power forward, and don't see Parker being able to play SF. I'd bring his shooting off the bench behind Hamilton. In fact he'd be an ideal 2nd string SG.

Sheed can play the 5, but he's MUCH MUCH better at the 4. That's been one of the Pistons problems, not having a center who they can play to let Sheed back to the 4.
Parker is a SG, you need to get him outta SF.

Im sorry to be negative but,

Although I think vince is a steal, he's the only player who can create for another in your team. Vince is better of receiving a pass rather than passing it.

Mo williams vc and anthony would be fighting for shots, while Emeka would be pissed that he doesnt have a chance to shoot.

In addition Emeka plays the 4 better.

Vince and Melo is okay, but with Mo, thts No.

so you quote yourself apparantly congratulating yourself as proof that there is positive feedback?

or is that quoted from a chat... which is still different from posting on here.

It's just a quip lol.

Honestly, I look at those negative feedbacks at constructive criticism. It helps you get an outlook on how to fix your team or what choices you could have made better.

Granted some of the comments have been unwarranted and kinda biased, but that is how it is with the internet. Trust me, when all the rosters are done, if I have the time, I'd be glad to point out the positives AND negatives of each time. I'm just waiting til those rosters are completed though, because I don't want to judge an unfinished product. Just a personal quirk :D

I'll rate individual players though.
