Goal for the season - To get out of the first round?

You would never hear Kobe and Phil say that, never. No matter the circumstances.

I agree with you that the players should feel that way, but as reasonable fans, the next step is the second round. Anything else is a failure, IMO.

This team hasn't reached it's peak yet. I agree that players should aim to be successful as possible but I see the REALISTIC scenario being a 2nd round exit.

I think my goal for the team is definitely to stay healthy... and I think that's worse than getting out of the first round.
