So I have tickets to the game in Boston (the only building Batum says he has never won in) on the 15th. Then I'm taking an 11 hour bus from NYC to Toronto. It will be the first game I've ever seen in Toronto, making it 24 current arenas I have seen the Blazers in. And then I will return to see the Blazers play in Brooklyn. Last season, I went to like 10 or 11 road games and we lost them all. I hope things are different this year!!

You should get PA to pay you to watch from home.

Seeing that record I would say you need to let someone else go on this trip.

*packs bags*

All I remember once was Eric trying to get me to go back to his room with him in NOLA!

Nobody gets it! King got all the road losses out of the way last year so these will be wins!

That crowd won't care if they aren't told to care. lol.

King, you should do a video diary of the trip and put it up on youtube and here.

If the Blazers are at a point where losing makes more sense than winning (i.e., draft position), King should go to all the games. And when the draft lottery takes place, DON'T WATCH.

Hopefully this season is a do over with your luck. I'm going to bite my tongue unless we start losing. Let's pray that was just some freak luck!

Eric, if the Blazers falter after this misguided attempt to support the team will you please change your handle to "jinxspeed?" once and for all?

Also I propose a new rule for KS. You can go to as many games as you want. But you can't say you were at the game or going to the game until after it was over! Maybe there are some player(s) on the team that know about the KS curse, or Eric personally, and it messes with their head knowing he'll be at the game.

I'm jealous, wish I had the bucks to do that, those residuals must pay well! Here's to breaking the streak in Bean town!

That would be a blast to see these guys play on the road. Enjoy your travels.

How can you afford this, if you don't mind me asking?

If I were you, KS, I'd use the trip as a little celebrity photo op. Contact the Blazer PR department and tell them of your plans, and how you do it every year.

You are exactly the kind of guy that is everything Portlandia is about (quirky supporting cast guy on a discontinued tv show who happens to be gay and also a little manic/depressive). I don't mean that in an offensive way--I just think you have exactly the kind of story the VP of Marketing at the Blazers was talking about in that interview a few weeks ago about authenticity. You are authentically Oregon--even grew up in Springfield--even if you moved on to NYC.

I think you could turn yourself into a B-Level Spike Lee of the Blazers if you wanted to with trips like this. It could get you publicity, which is always good for your own acting career. If nothing else, you could write off some of this trip as a business expense, because you'd be using it to try to further your career.

If nothing else, it could be one of the many little talking points announcers of other teams bring up at the beginning of games if the Blazer PR department point it out. Just an idea.

Was Bones cancelled?

Also, Portlandia should totally have Eric be a semi regular cast member. I'd rather watch him on the show than someone like Sam Adams.

Nope, Bones is still running. Mid-season right now. I would expect the show to be winding down with maybe one more season left.

Ironic you bring this show up. I was just contacted to join BONES next season. Guess one of the producers reads S2 and says he'd love to work with me.
