Was Bones cancelled?

I never watched it, I have to admit. I just assumed it was.

I'm staying at my brother's house, and he put it on. I said, "Oh, that's that Eric Millegan guy. He's a huge Blazer fan. Let me show you." First time they were ever interested in anything I had to say Blazer-related. Got me thinking about this thread.

Ironic you bring this show up. I was just contacted to join BONES next season. Guess one of the producers reads S2 and says he'd love to work with me.

Actually I think that was BONED, not BONES.

Eric, if the Blazers falter after this misguided attempt to support the team will you please change your handle to "jinxspeed?" once and for all?

Hahahahaha! I'll think about it.
I think this is a good idea. Even if it's just shitty selfies videos with a smart phone.

I would have no idea how to edit. Plus, I want to really take in the experience and not be busy filming it. If I take any good pictures, I'll text them to HCP and he can post them.
I'm jealous, wish I had the bucks to do that, those residuals must pay well! Here's to breaking the streak in Bean town!

I'm actually not spending much money on this. I'm taking a cheap bus to Boston. My friend there is getting my ticket. Then, I'm bussing to Toronto (not very expensive), and I have a friend who works for the Raptors who is getting me free tickets. Then, I bought $23 tickets for me and my husband for the Brooklyn game. I don't have much money nowadays so no courtside for me on this trip.

If I were you, KS, I'd use the trip as a little celebrity photo op. Contact the Blazer PR department and tell them of your plans, and how you do it every year.

You are exactly the kind of guy that is everything Portlandia is about (quirky supporting cast guy on a discontinued tv show who happens to be gay and also a little manic/depressive). I don't mean that in an offensive way--I just think you have exactly the kind of story the VP of Marketing at the Blazers was talking about in that interview a few weeks ago about authenticity. You are authentically Oregon--even grew up in Springfield--even if you moved on to NYC.

I think you could turn yourself into a B-Level Spike Lee of the Blazers if you wanted to with trips like this. It could get you publicity, which is always good for your own acting career. If nothing else, you could write off some of this trip as a business expense, because you'd be using it to try to further your career.

If nothing else, it could be one of the many little talking points announcers of other teams bring up at the beginning of games if the Blazer PR department point it out. Just an idea.

Actually, in the 2007-08 season, I went to 21 games and the Portland broadcasts showed me a lot. Rebecca Haarlow interviews me. Then, a local Portland TV station did a story on me about how I was becoming the Blazers' Spike Lee. If they want to cover me again, I'm fine with that! Who do I call?

Look up Bones. His real name is Eric Milligan

actually, my last name is spelled Millegan

Damn. That's not a bad gig, KS. 61 episodes on Bones? Well done!

Glad to see you get at least somewhere in the acting world. That's a cruel industry!

Thanks. Yes, it's very cruel. Tough tough business. Very grateful I've done what I've done.

Hmm, if only there was somebody on this board who worked for the Blazers who could drop your name to the PR department. Somebody whose wife, perhaps, has offered services to practically everybody but you (for obvious reasons)....

Just occurred to me that the Blazers made a big deal recently about endorsing gay marriage as well. May be another angle for the story there.

My dad is convinced that he cannot watch the Blazers. If he watches, they lose, so he turned to listening to the radio many years ago.

Kingspeed can't even be bothered to stop hurting that which he loves the most... :sigh:

My father in law, brother in law and myself have only watched 2 Duck football games together EVER! The Natty vs Auburn and last years Stanford game. Both losses......

I can promise you we will never all watch another game together EVER AGAIN!

And yet Kingspeed still hasn't gotten the message from the basketball gods..... :sigh:

I THOUGHT HE WAS IN CHARACTER THIS WHOLE TIME!

I hoped this thread was going to be about a new season of "On the Road with Big John".

Now we're doomed.

How are they going to explain how Zack Addy put on all that weight and turned half Mexican?

Wait a sec......you're......I didn't kn......really?

But you're such a bad dresser!
Hahahahahahahahah!!! Repped!

EDIT: You must spread some butter around before giving it to Mrs. HCP again.

He's a method actor?

Acting! Thank you!

(Don't have time to look up the SNL clip.)
