Thanks for reminding me! I had forgotten. Just did it. Phew.
Forget travelling to see a game. Any of us would do that if we could. But it's a true fan who blows off an employment opportunity to go to Milwaukee to watch a basketball game. In November. LOL

What's it like there? How's the beer? Are you comfortable in a town with that much sausage?

Just sitting in my hotel room. Will do sightseeing tomorrow. The Captain Frederick Pabst Mansion is nearby, what ever that is. There's also a Harley museum. Right now, I'm waiting for pizza. I ordered my official Blazers pizza: Pepperoni and Black Olives (Blazers colors!)

I don't drink beer by the wAy but I did have two little bottles of Jack Daniels on the plane last night.

Yeah, "LITTLE" bottles. Did you mean 'train'? :devilwink:

Don't pass out and oversleep. You'll miss the game. And that would be epic.

I'm questioning your true Oregon roots, KS. That pizza looks suspiciously non gluten-free, and devoid of any herbal-gerbil ingredients. What gives?

Milwaukee...ahh, home of Fonzi and Laverne and Shirley.

Wear a scarf for good luck! And careful not to jump the shark yet.

Someone needs to make a "Shotz Brewery" jersey imo.

And Wayne's World was filmed there a little bit, too!

By the way, my husband says he has noticed what a different team we are this year, better than even the Roy years. When Boston/KG tried to knock us out early, I was thinking that we were probably dead and he said "this not past years' teams. This team responds. This team is different." He thinks the big difference is Mo Williams.

All kidding aside, I admire your fandom KingSpeed. I think your perseverance has pleased the gods.

I'd agree with that. I think Stotts is still playing the starters too much, even though Wright, Williams, and Freeland have proven more than adequate. I think in due time the minutes will come down.

I think hubby may be onto something. I had a weird feeling the team wasn't going to fold after that blistering first quarter. It just...felt different. There's an interesting mix of just enough vet experience along with all the youth that gives the team a little mental toughness along with fresher legs.

It would seem that youth isn't entirely wasted on the young with this squad.

Blazer Psycho. I love it!

Like Patrick Bateman with a basketball jones thing goin' on. ;-)

With the Nyets game, I only saw the score in the first half, and had to miss the second half. I knew they were down, but I had a good feeling they were going to get back in it and win.
