I used to go to the dentist when I was a kid in the Lake Oswego ghetto.

I lived in Saskatchewan for 8 years, where going to the dentist is considered a sign of weakness. They either tie a string around an infected tooth and attach it to a runaway moose, or paint meat broth on it and let a wolverine poke around in there.

Oh, Canada is on the cutting edge of English dentistry.
