Its the closest we'll ever get. What, build through the draft? So then in 7 or 8 years you can claim that whoever we have won't get us to the championship because we don't happen to have one of the top 3 MVP candidates in the league?

How's Rolo doing in this series? I know he's a fan favorite but I want a championship.

Walton still is the Blazers GOAT cause he lead a team to a championship. Not attainable for LA unless he wins a title for Portland.

Look if Popovich tells LA that he won't retire when Timmy does and will coach Parker, Leonard, and Aldridge, I think LA is gone.

If we could get DeAndre Jordan, Aldridge would probably stick around. That would be such an awesome front court. DeAndre Jordan isn't leaving LA. Would you leave LA and come to Portland if you were a single, rich NBA player who's a borderline star? And had no connection to the city of Portland? Heeeeyyyyyl nah
 
Probably not, but maybe snake oil salesman NO could convince him since he drafted him and got him that large contract. He could still live down there and play here.

LeBron James and Dirk won the last 3 besides Duncan. Pau Gasol and KG won 3 before that. PF is actually the most important position of all the title winners the last dozen years.

How anyone who calls themselves a Blazers fan could think LaMarcus isn't deserving of being one of the 3 highest paid players on a team is ludicrous. The cap is going up to $110 million per year! If we loose LaMarcus we'll be able to pay free agents such as Spencer Hawes. Nice plan.

LeBron never said he would sign with Cleveland. He was very open about playimg the field in 2010.
 
I think he looks around. That is the smart move. He comes back at the end of the day though. I have money on it for a reason.
