Gonna put it out there: LMA WILL STAY.

You have to win game 4.

Getting swept wont bode well in these negotiations.

As it stands now, this will be an uphill climb. Fwiw, he sold his Texas property a few years ago and moved to L.A.

I really doubt winning that one game will be a factor 2 months from now.

They need to sell him on a vision. I'm having trouble seeing a path to greatness with this roster and coach. He'll force a sign-and-trade in the end like Love did to Minny.

It's 10:32 PM on April 25th, 2015, and I am still 100% convinced LMA will stay!

LMA ain't going to a worse situation than here at this point in his career. It's going to be the Spurs or a top Eastern team that can sign and trade for him.

I get what you mean but man it's like even Marc stein and some national people always mention LMA but never Marc gasol for example

Is LMA ppl telling them things? I just don't get with only one healthy LMA dame era squad they pick on us we literally just started our window. I see grizzles get knocked out every year since like 2011 but gasol is a lock to resign?

That's weird to me. If LMA leaves that tells me he really never wanted to be here plus leaving the money behind only clarifies that

LA is the top free agent in this class. They are going to target him.

The real answer as to why they barely talk about Gasol is because he grew up in Memphis. That's his home.

Notice how they mostly reference LMA to Texas teams? Thats because thats where he grew up. It's a story they can present that has logic.

So how many players are going to come out and say that LA is leaving before we accept that LA is leaving? I'm gonna set the over under at 4.5...

The only other possible explanation in my head is that they are so sick of hearing about it that they decided to say f it and start telling reporters hes not going to stay.

Gonna be interesting to see how this plays about because if he made up his mind at this time of the year and then spread it through the team then that is f'd up imo.

For some reason I can't get the tweets to show up. I know they are working, but I can't see them. WHat's that say?

Regards to last RT, I've been told by 2 players in the #Blazers locker room they do not believe LaMarcus Aldridge will return next season.

Ugh. I'm still certain he'll come here, though. I'm holding out hope. I can't believe in this playoff, so I'll shift it over to LMA staying.

Say he does leave, is he a hero or a villain? Lets be honest he has yet to really lead us anywhere outside of that first round victory last year. Then you have the issue of him saying he "wants to retire the greatest blazer ever", and now the questionable timing of all this news surfacing.

If he leaves I can't fault him. To be honest, if Pop told him he would stay another 5 or so years, he needs to go to San Antonio. And, the fact that we have routinely underappreciated the guy during his time here, he probably doesn't feel as loyal to us as fans would hope.

On the other hand, for the comments he's made about how it would be just a formality of resigning here last year, and that he wanted to retire the greatest blazer ever, I would boo the shit out of him everytime he came to play here.

Amen. I couldn't hate him for it, but I could certainly boo the shit out of him for it.

I've got nothing against Lamarcus if he leaves. He been a great player for this franchise. If he wants to move somewhere closer to home or where he will have a higher profile, he can. This isn't exactly Palm Springs when it comes to player destinations.

You're right, we have far less golf courses and a much younger population.

I'd be neutral to wherever except for the Lakers.

I will say one thing for certain. If Aldridge leaves, you blow the whole fucking thing up. I'm talking a huge revamp with everyone but Dame, CJ and Leonard. Everyone else must go.

This team was designed around Aldridge. We saw how badly we sucked when Aldridge wasn't in the game

Yeah. But then Kevin Love will demand a trade and return to Oregon where he played...... oops, that was UCLA.
