The Verizon specific NFL Mobile app is fuggin amazing. You can stream NFL radio feeds and watch NFL Redzone free on your phone (key for me since I have no TV channels at my place and can't always finda stream. Google calendars, google maps, google nav. Ebuddy for AIM/FB chat, facebook, Movies. Advanced task killer. I use "SF Baseball News" and "Raiders News" which are just apps that find articles on either team. ESPN Scorecenter has a pretty dope widget. Listmaster for keeping track of lists an shit (I have god awful memory), IMDb, Dropbox, GDocs for creating/reading/editing files and putting them on google docs, Amazon. Redbox Codes is a list of codes people use and post how successful they are so you can get free movies out of Redboxes. I use the stock weather widget for weather purposes. Googe Voice for voice mail- it takes your voice mails, converts them into text messages for you to read and you can read the transcripts and play them in the app.Shazam comes in handy from time to time if I want to know what song is playing on the radio.
Chrome-to-Phone is also fuggin amazing. Anything you pull up on Chrome on your computer you click a button and it instantly sends it to your phone. If its a webpage where you want it on the go its there instantly. If its directions on google maps. Whatever. Pretty sweet. I believe theres also a Mozilla to phone if thats your preference.
Dunno if you need to DL it with the new Android but the new voice controls are really useful when driving. Just press a button and say "go to Sportstwo" and it'll bring it up on the browser or "call John Smith" and it will call them. Or "Navigate to Rose Garden". Theres a lot of different commands and Android's voice recognition is honestly amazing.
As for browsers I used to use X-Scope Lite but ever since the new update I use the stock browser.
And for games: Baseball superstars, Homerun Battle 3D, Bebbled, coloroid (fuggin addicting), chess, labyrinth, breaktheblocks, texasholdem.
And I use LauncherPro as my launcher. Really smooth and snappy, lets you adjust how many homescreens you want, lets you put icons at the bottom that will be there no matter what screen you are on (mine are phone, contacts, messaging, browser) and you can scroll between those and have a shit ton of those.
