Canzano says otherwise: http://twitter.com/johncanzanobft
His source is from the Blazers. Quick's is Roy's agent.
Not sure whom to believe.

Haha good one
its k, nothing breaking yet
With over 1,900 views I've learned to start all posts with "Breaking News".

Neither says it's done, or close for that matter.
Quick says it's close:
"After more than a month of negotiations, Brandon Roy and the Trail Blazers are nearing an agreement on a long-term contract extension, The Oregonian has learned."
I think it's more accurate to say that they are close to getting close to soon being able to get to a position, where negotiations on the contract can come to a conclusion at a future time in which it will be finalized.Ok, so they are getting close, they aren't close yet.

Or the good old... "DEAL COMING SOON"
Neither says it's done, or close for that matter.
The fact that Canzano said anything, to me means things are close enough to being done that there needs to be someone saying it's not done. That's a possitive.
Whoever made that thread is brilliant.
Looking back, I am sad that deal never happened in it's entirety
